Fess up....Gym Style Chest push-ups

How many of you actually do ALL the sets of push-ups? I get bored after the set of 12 and fast foward to the bench presses. That's just too many push-ups! It has nothing to do with them being too hard (cough cough).
 
I do them all, but I take a little more time between sets than Cathe does and do some Tony-style huggers.

I love doing push-up, it's the bench presses that bore me to tears.

I typically start out strong (on the knees, though), but skip every other set until she gets down to 8, then I do them all from there.
 
I do them all on my toes, but I use a faster pace than Cathe, for the first few sets anyway, and sometimes take a longer break in between sets.
 
Huggers are a ballistic stretch that Tony Horton does in P90X. Basically, spread your arms out wide, then quickly bring them in around you like you're hugging yourself, then bring them out wide again, and repeat (this is probably a bad description). They're similar to the ballistic stretch that swimmers do on the block before a race.

They give a nice little stretch in the chest and shoulders and take a little of the burn out after doing push ups.
 
I try my darndest to do them all. I used to be able to do the first 2 sets on my toes, then drop down to my knees after that. Now I would have to do almost all of them on my knees - I need to work on getting my upper body strength back.
 
I also do them all but after the 42nd pushup I take extra rests in between. I guess Cathe got me prepared for P90X because the pushups don't bother me in P90X and Tony does so many different variations, he keeps it from getting boring.

Yep, I do. I love pushups! I don't always do them exactly as Cathe does, sometimes I'll pause just a little bit between some of the sets(but no longer than 15-20 seconds). I love GS C & T, one of my fav workouts!
 
I do all of them. I can do about 30 on my toes and then go on my knees for the rest. I dread them though!
 
I do them all. I will either take a longer rest between sets - or I will do the push-ups at a faster speed than Cathe. I am always hurting by the end!

I do do them on my toes, but I just don't have the patience to go through all the sets. Not to mention, my corgi always comes over and stands under my chest when I do them. And if I manage to do them without her noticing, my caughter comes over and pushes down on my back. I can't win!
