... clothes in the children's dept? I have to admit that I sometimes buy tanks in the children's dept, because they're so much cheaper... and I really go through them (I'm sweaty). I do cross the line at pants, though!;-)

uhhhhhhh.... well, given the fact that I do not fit into clothes from the children's department, that answer would be NO. :p

Me? no. maybe if they would fit!

My friend is so tiny that's where she has to shop! She went from a size 4 to children's clothes in one year, believe that?!

Yep. I consider it one of the benefits of being "petite" (okay, short). The pants don't really fit me, but the tops do. At Nordstroms, I can buy the exact same tank top that costs $18 in the women's department for $12 in the kids area. I often find the clothes don't fit right, but sometimes I find a really good deal.

I never have...though I probably could buy the tops...I don't think the pants would fit me though!:)

I buy most of my clothes from whatever they call the department for teenagers...misses perhaps??? I just prefer the styles therec compared to the women's clothing department.

I can fit into the larger children's sizes, but the lengths are a problem... everything is too short. I'm 5'7" and the pants, skirts and shorts are just too short for this 50 year old lady. Tops don't really work because of my shoulders being wider. Before I started using Cathe's weight workouts though, I could wear children's tops! ;)

Being that I wear a 34D bra, I'd have to say that I don't think the clothes would fit. Plus, I don't think they'd be age appropriate. I might be able to get away with pants, but then again....I don't want to be wearing the same thing a teen would wear.

I confess, I hit the boys department, XL in boys fits me fine! Cheaper and sometimes better made, especially the shirts because they have a fuller chest area. Especially important for women who large tatas.

I had the hardest time finding a pair of just plain sweats a few months ago and my mom asked if I checked the boys section and I had never thought about it. After I found my sweats I started peeking in the girls section because i'm pretty much built like a 12 year old girl anyways and found some plain t-shirts and tank tops for workouts that were pretty much a third of the price of the same thing in the women's section so now I go there for all of my workout tops.

Being a 36C here, I completely agree!

Agreed again...:)

I wear the same bra size as Donna, and the thought of me in a kid's tank top has me ROFLMAO. :7 Thanks for the giggle. :+

I've never really thought about buying clothes from the kid's department- I haven't fit into them since I was a kid!

I have started buying tops from Juniors departments lately, as I've finally lost enough weight to wear them. I love the new baby doll style tops that I'm finding in the stores these days.

I am barely a 36B but I can't imagine shirts from girls' would fit or be long enough (5'8") - maybe I will pick one up (tank or tee) just out of curiosity.

Gosh, about 4 years ago I could fit into a size 16 at Osh Kosh, but they never fit right. They were fit for kids that don't have hips yet. So, they would fit up to my hips and then be really big in the waist. Then the shirts, yeah, no way. I was a bit too big in the chest area for that.
I'm working on getting back to that size. But it's going to take a little while. I weigh about 18 pounds more than I did then.
Not that I want to fit into kids clothing. I just felt better at that weight.
