February - Rhea

Rhea

Cathlete
I think I'll start keeping track of the rotations for progress.

Not going to start Cathe's Feb rotation until next week, but on the weekend will be my start of the week.

This week will be:

Yesterday: Firm's Super Cardio
Today - yoga - enforced rest day.
Tomorrow: PUB w/ added cardio
Thurs: PUL, maybe extra cardio.
Fri: off?
Sat: Step, Jump and Pump
Sun: Imax 1
Mon: Body Max...
Tues: massage, so rest day
Wed: ...not sure what to sub
Thurs: KPC
Fri: Power Hour

okay, that's enough for a start.

Hi Rhea,

Wow! This looks like quite a rotation to me. Body Max on Monday, huh? Wow! I have yet to do the entire tape -- it's 90 minutes and so I break it down. But that's quite a rotation you have there.

Well, I guess I didn't skip out of jury duty too much. My daughter has it tomorrow and wants me to go down there with her. Because it's sort of "Have laptop, will travel," I told her I'd go with her until 1PM, at which time, I have to go to my course. And here I'd thought I'd lucked out on that score.x(

Have a great one. I'm planning a short cardio and then stretch day tomorrow.:D I'm not used to up at the crack of dawn, exercise and get out the door. I'm so used to working from home -- I do get up at the crack of dawn, but I'm in my pj's usually until noon...

It's a bit different.

Okay, so have a good one. If you don't hear from me tomorrow, it's cause I'll be running all over town.:+

Karen,

Most of that rotation is from Cathe's Feb list. I'm going to attempt it, but we'll see.

Have fun at "jury duty" it can be interesting, but rather boring at times. Especially if it is a civil trial (well, I guess I'm biased being a criminal attorney...no pun intended :+ )

Hi Rhea,

Yes, it'll be interesting to follow your posting on the Feb. rotation. Someday, when time permits, I'm going to do Body Max all the way through. Someday...

A day in court was interesting. It was sort of like, hurry up, hurry up to wait... If you know what I mean. There's some big criminal case up in the LA area apparently and so there were hundreds of people there.

Anyway, have a great day. :)

Karen - that wouldn't happen to be the Michael Jackson case? I do believe that it is going on right now. But yep, that is exactly how court is in all parts of the world. Hurry up and wait.

Anyhoo...Last night did the first three cardio sections from C&W, then PUB. Good workout. Unfortunately, DH got home just as I was finishing the cardio so I let my HR get down lower then I wanted doing the weight part. Oh well.

Tonight should be PLB, and some cardio if I remember correctly.

Well, I remembered correctly but didn't follow! Gee, like that surprises me! :p I started out doing some cardio. I had chosen IMAX2, the premix of the first 5. Well, by the time I got to the 4th, I was having too much fun and was also thinking, I'm half-way through this workout, why don't I just finish it? Plus I had started a bit later than I wanted. So it was a full IMAX2 last night.

Today is a question mark, meaning I didn't know what I wanted there. But, I beleive I can squeeze in a workout at lunch, so I'm thinking of moving up the rotation and doing SJP, just not sure if that is too much after IMAX2. This morning a bit tired too, so might do Yoga for Athletes. I re-evaluate at lunch.

:7

Hi Rhea,

Funny, that you were only going to do the first 5 rotations of IMAX2 and ended up doing it all. Actually I have IMAX2 on my schedule for today -- it's one of my favorite workouts. I also like to sprint, but I notice that without Cathe being there urging me on, I don't do as intense a workout. So I think I'll do IMAX2 today.

I'm not sure what the workout was that you were referring to doing today, but I hope it all goes great.

You must be in good shape, Rhea, to do all that in one day. Wow! Way to go.

Michael Jackson's trial is up in the Santa Barbara area -- this was a different one. But my daughter went in yesterday, didn't get interviewed, but by the time they were coming to her name, the jurors had all been picked and she was excused.:) She was happy about that -- she'd been so worried.;)

Hope you have a terrific Friday and a great weekend.

Off to work.:p

Karen - I'm a little pooped and just feeling tired from IMAX2 yesterday, so I'm going to listen to the body, for once, and just do some yoga. Tomorrow I'll pick right back up. (actually, I'm probably more dehydrated than physically tired.)

Don't work too hard! (I'm not, haven't gotten a thing done today..haha)

Hi Rhea,

Boy, I can really understand that. Sometimes, that day off inbetween is just the ticket. Especially when you're tired or sore from the day before. What a good idea, though, to do some yoga.

Oh, isn't is exciting that the Hardcore DVD's are being sent? I preordered four of them, IMAX3, Low Max, Muscle Max and Stretch Max. It's funny cause when I get a new tape, I get so excited.:+

I'm really looking forward, believe it or not, to Cathe's stretch DVD -- it has three stretch routines on it, and I can't wait to do them.

Anyway, Monday is the day I start writing the new book. I was getting all kinds of other things done before I started, and I've cleared my desk now, and so it's off to begin another book. Always an exciting time, starting it out fresh and new. I've only got about 4 months to write this, so I do need to get going on it.

Anyway, have a terrific weekend.:7

Hi Karen!!

Hey when does your last book get published? Or is there more re-writes to yet do?

Well, I didn't have enough time to do yoga yesterday. Spent too much on some puppy training....phew, that was a lot of work and very frustrating at times. But eventually, hopefully, he'll get it.

I'm going to switch around and do Body Max today since it is so long. If I do it on Monday, we never get to eat dinner!

Have a great day and relax this weekend before that start on Monday.

Hi Karen Kay & Rhea,

Do you believe that I haven't been able to post here? I think I had some setting blocked. Anyway, I HAVE been keeping an eye on you two. You both sure are the cardio queens lately! I am going to try to get my big old tush out of bed and start running again in the mornings. I'm sure that would help with my weight loss.

Okay, off to watch the super bowl -- go Eagles!

-- Jeanie

Okay, I did Body Max. Wow. That was intense and long. But not so long that I was watching the clock. At the abs I was a little tired.

Yesterday was going to do IMAX1, but DH decided that we were leaving early to go to mother-in-law's for superbowl. I ate breakfast right away and tried to workout an hour later. Not enough time after breakfast...eww. I had to stop before the first interval. So that will be done tonight hopefully.

Hi Rhea! Hi Jeanie!

Wow! You did all of Body Max. I'm impressed.:) Way to go!

Superbowl -- wow! Hope you had a great time, both of you. I made a lo carb apple pie, if you can call an apple pie lo carb. -- no sugar, topping almost all protein...

My book comes out in September (called THE ANGEL AND THE WARRIOR) -- it's a long wait for me between books, as I switched publishers last year, and so I had to be fitted onto their schedule. However, I'm doing a book give-away contest -- it'll be posted on my website within the next few weeks. Am giving away 25 copies of the book, WAR CLOUD'S PASSION -- actually I should just give you & Jeanie a copy of it without it being part of the contest, come to think of it.

Anyway, I'll let you know when the contest is up and posted on the ole website. Hopefully soon.

Have a great one!:7

Hi Rhea!

Just jumped on to say hi. It's morning here yet, but I will be gone for most of the day today, so thought I'd just wish you a good day and a terrific workout.:7

Thanks Karen! Hope you have a great day too.

Workout yesterday was IMAX the original. I'm going to have to do that one more because my legs need that type of workout. I had to modify a bit because they were getting too worn out.

Today is rest day since I have a massage appointment. That is my salvation, never will give up those massages. ;-)

Karen - forgot to tell you...dang it I can't remember the name now. :* I started Wolf something last night....Blackfoot, Montana...starts off with elder telling kids story....oh....female character's name is Alys. (geeze, at least I remembered something!!) I'm just loving it (but have to limit my reading or I'll be up all night. }( )

Talk to you later! Don't work too hard. Do you have to do a lot of research this time? That's the part that would be so fun.

Hi Rhea,

That's WOLF SHADOW'S PROMISE -- it's one of my favorite books -- I wrote it to honor the Blackfeet -- Alys is actually patterned after my elder daughter, by the way. Almost always get my friends and loved ones in these books somehow.

The research is one of the things that I absolutely love about writing. Am constantly researching -- even when I'm not writing full out. Yes, I'll have to do quite a bit of research for the new book -- it's from a tribe I've never written about so far -- the Assiniboine -- also from Montana. And I'll also be researching some on scouting. What fun.

Isn't IMAX the original an incredible workout? I actually find it a little harder in spots than IMAX2 -- although in other spots I find it easier than IMAX2 -- I know what you mean about the legs, though. Mine burn.

Oh, one more thing -- gee, I'm going on and on -- and on your site -- please excuse -- but my chiropractor the other day -- when he asked me to take a deep breath, he looked at me and said, "I can tell you're really atheletic. Me. I've never thought of myself as an athelete, but maybe since I've been working out now fairly intensely for about 2-3 years, it's starting to show. It's a nice thing to think about.

Have a wonderful evening -- or day tomorrow and a great workout.:7

Karen - talk all you want!! We have to chat somewhere...hehehe...;-)

I'll be back later, darn work interfering with my forum friends. By the way, I don't know if you were following Andrea and her kittie's problems, but she had to put him down yesterday. We're all very sad.;(

Hi Rhea!

Mose? She had to put him down? Oh, no. I'm very sad. I have six cats and I can imagine her pain.

I've not been able to get to the site lately. I'm gonna try right after I post here. Thanks so much for telling me.

Gee, I feel bad for her.;( I'll get over there.
