This morning it's X-Train (not Cathe Xtrain though) Circuit Burnout Upper Body 31 mins + Pilates for Spine & Hip Flexibility, Laura Firth on youtube 20mins.

As always, looking forward to reading about your workouts, activities, recovery days and such. :) I have a pretty busy weekend ahead myself, but I also need to catch some rest and sleep!!

This morning I did my own WB of cardio + PHA + cardio + Giant Sets + cardio - it was fun.

Love your variety Elsie. you are very open to new things, clearly.

Hello everyone! I did Tracie Long Staying power today. She's new to me. It's intermediate, circuit style. It was nice enough. Ceci.....I'm envious of the workout blender. I haven't jumped on the "on demand" yet. I'm happy with Live for now. Elsie, you're a good role model for adding Pilates, yoga and stretching. I need more of that!! Happy day to all who follow!
 
I slept in and will take a rest day. I despise colds. And of course it is going to be 60 degrees today. If only the weather and /or season would make up its mind.

Hope your weekend is good, everyone:). Annette, I just checked the temp here and it is 68. Yesterday, was in the
30's. Crazy weather for sure! I did a 10 min. Walk on my treadmill and just finished a 40 min. Blender PHA
Training workout. If I do anything else today, it will probably be a spin bike Peloton ride later.
 
Those of you who don't do onDemand, is it too much money? Do you prefer to own your Cathe workouts? Just curious.

What would you say is the big thing people are doing. Back around 2005 it was P90X. Is there one like that one that people do? Both men and women?

I did 1:45 at endurance pace on the bike today. Tomorrow we are riding outside. I hope it's the start of the outdoor season!
 
I guess Missy I prefer to own my workouts. Our cable bill is already high so adding on another monthly fee would be too much. Plus, I honestly don't understand technology enough to have to figure out the streaming thing.

Not sure what the latest trend is these days. Haven't heard anything new that I know of.

Missy, I do the Cathe OnDemand and absolutely love it, 'specially the workout blender and CatheLive, it's well
Worth the $$. I also use the Bitgym app and Peloton app, but those I don't always renew each month, but I keep
Cathe going monthly. Just finished 15 min. Denim & Diamonds spin bike Peloton ride.

I have Cathe's DVDs as well, in case I can't get on line or whatever, I can still workout with my
DVDs!

I did onDemand for a couple of months and LIVE for three. I loved it! LIVE really kept me interested with all of the variety and I prefer many of the workouts there to the DVD. For example, I seemed to enjoy PHAT 2 from LIVE moreso than the workout on Strong & Sweaty. Maybe that's odd, I dunno. I also loved checking out Cathe's earlier releases in lifting/weights workouts as I do not own very many. I learned that I like those a lot. I do not feel that it cost too much money, however, it is more than I can presently afford so that is why I no longer have it. I have not bought any new workouts at all for some time (I bought two S&S dvds in pre-sale) and I have enough (plus I find there's quality instructors that give away some workouts!, DH gets ones from the library and I am always finding not really free workouts online too. I know that's bad! :oops:Kinda like ones people put up and then they usually get taken down a couple of weeks later) to keep me busy and from getting bored with it. Yeah, I change things up quite often cause 1. I do tend to get bored with the same kind of workout and 2. I go through periods where I need to scale things back in terms of frequency. But I LOVE LIVE, that's for sure! Once I get moved and settled away this year, I will probably subscribe again. Moving isn't cheap. lol.

I think spinning is still quite 'on trend'. In terms of workout dvd systems, hmmm, I'm not sure. MetaShred Extreme looks popular. I've been hearing a lot about Debbie Siebers (Slim in 6) newest program too.

Today I did another WB workout of PUB/STS Upper Body segments + cardio intervals. It was long but good. I love working my upper body.

Linda - c'mon, you've gotta be in great shape. You workout a lot and steadily! wow. impressed.
Missy - I started on demand a few months back. I did cathe live for a while, then on demand but don't think they had the blender up right away so i cancelled it. now that I have the blender - i can't give it up. i don't do as much live but I do them from time to time
TLC - I just can't get into tracie long

Sunday check-in time. Finished 10 min on my elliptical and did 35 min. Blender B.L.T. Workout. (Stands for band,

Wow, more great workouts Ceci & Linda! :) Ceci, I would say it's like a way easier/slower version of RWH. It's alright. Not great or anything. I feel my shoulders and tris today though.
I hope I have some time to get in some fascial ball release when I get home. As of now, no time.

Happy Sunday ladies! I needed something good today. It was Susan Chung #2. I love her kickboxing workouts. Tough stuff...perfect. Missy, I dont have Cathes On Demand yet. Right now I dont see the need for it although Ceci is making me lust after the workout blender. Thats really intriguing! The possibilities are endless!! For now I'm happy with Cathe Live. They are so much fun, with great variety too. Another snow storm is hitting us.....bye for now. Be well and be safe everyone!
 
Oh, stay warm there Peg. I really enjoy Susan Chung as well. Thanks for reminding me of her. I wonder if you might be putting anything new out?

Today I just did some speed walking up hills as I was running late with appointments and such. It was such a lovely day outside, so can't complain! :) Got a sweat on in my winter sweater!!
