Maybe we are of "a certain" generation, my dear -- but I love all your choices. "Field of Dreams" is my hands-down favorite, though.

Other big faves are "The American President" and "Dave" (love those White House heartwarmers), and "Groundhog Day" (is there anyone as funny as Bill Murray?)

I'll second the comment on Johnny Depp - he's a genius. How about him in "Gilbert Grape?"
