Favorite fitness/health magazine?

Health and Clean Eating are great. However, sometimes Clean Eating magazine's recipes have SO MANY ingredients, many of which are hard for me to find or are too expensive. Health is very good, IMO.

I respectfully disagree with the negative review of Fitness Rx.
I have cancelled ALL of my other fitness magazines (Shape, Fitness, Women's Health, Oxygen, and a couple others I can't recall right now. I've gone from 6 to 1!)) and only get Fitness RX. It has all the info the others contain in a much easier (for me) to read presentation.
As far as promoting supplements or whatever, I find Oxygen, Muscle & Fitness hers contain just as many ads/articles as Fitness RX. They all have to pay for the publication somehow and unfortunately advertisements are the main source of income! :(

Agreed, Becky, my quibble was with how BLATANT they are about it- they treat the reader like they're an idiot and they can't even be bothered to be subtle about it. And as I said, I find their articles to be very poorly written and at times very negative toward women.

I think what I appreciate is the referencing Fitness RX footnotes in their mini bits. Of course, I've never actually checked their reference so they could be full of phooey! :p

But this thread got me to thinking about my favorite magazine of all time Did anyone get ENERGY by Bill Phillips? It was awesome, but didn't last long. Does anyone know what happened? Too much competition?

It is crazy how many magazines are out there! I went to Books a Million and the whole back wall of the store is wall to wall magazines!

Oh, I almost forgot, As a new runner, I am also really enjoying Runner's World.

morningstar, love your signature quotes btw!
Is Tom Venuto's book worth the investment? I've seen other thread about him, but don't really know anything about him.

Have a terrific weekend!

I really like what he has to say. I have found that his advice is really quite useful, and straight forward, no BS.
