Favorite Christmas special?

I always fluctuate as to which is my fave but the list includes The Grinch, Frosty, Charlie Brown and Rudolph. I go nuts when they're on and I don't allow talking in the house until the commercial comes on! :p I've also been known to have all of my stuffed Rudolph characters act out what's happening as the show is on. Yes I know, I've got issues!!!:D

For all of you Rudolph fans, I want to share something that has upset me. Starting about 4 years ago or so, the network broadcast of Rudolph changed the song that Herbie (Hermie) and Rudolph sing together after they meet and decide to be "independent" together. The song they sing in the original version is "Fame and Fortune" which I love. They have now changed it to "We're a Couple of Misfits." Why oh why would they change a song from such a classic??? The new song doesn't even fit well and it's sung way too fast. Thank goodness I have the original on vhs and many tapings off the tv from years ago. Geesh, LEAVE HISTORY ALONE!!!!! Maybe I need to boycott the national broadcast until they change it back to the original version. I'm sure I have nothing else pressing going in my life! So, who's with me here???? ;):D

O.K., gripe.........over!!!!!! :)

My DVD has the misfit song, but now that I think of it, when I was little some special had fame and fortune. Was it Rudoplh? How'd I miss that? I love Rudolph

One of my favorites was on last night on ABC Family: "Santa Claus is Coming To Town". I love that one. I remember when I was little I use to get so upset when the mayor of the town would take away the kids toys.

I also love the Heat Miser cartoon - the old one - but I can't think of the name of it. Great stuff. All the older cartoons are the best.
