Fat Loss with Insanity

How has your fat loss been with doing Insanity workouts? I am having a hard time grasping that will burn alot of fat like they claim it will. It seems it is more for speed and aerobic conditioning than fat loss since you are constantly anaerobic pretty much the entire workout.
I am just wondering I guess if anyone had huge amounts of fat loss like they claim and how long it took to notice the fat loss, was it not til the 2nd month? Any info would be great, i am looking for fat loss and don't want to waste 2 months doing a program that isn't the best way to lose it.
 
I'm just guessing that it burns crazy calories and stokes your metaboism. I think I have lost 4 lbs. I am 6 weeks in and do not work out on saturdays. That would kill me. I have a hard time with monday through friday. I think I would be dangerously near overtraining if I did saturdays.

I have been moderately good about cals.

People comment that it looks like I have lost "alot of weight" whatever that means.

I am close to goal so losing right now is difficult.

I think that fat loss is about calories in calories out...but insanity has definately helped.
 
I guess I just don't understand the max interval concept (unless it is supposed to be more like tabata? with minimal rest), it doesn't seem the same as HIIT or interval to me, and from what I understand HIIT is the best for fat burning.
