"Famous pizza press"??

In B&G, Cathe calls a bent-leg donkey kick a 'pizza press" (and later, repeats the term, calling it 'the famouns pizza press.") Am I out of the loop? I don't recall ever hearing or seeing this move called a 'pizza press' (and I can't really connect it to anything I'd do with a pizza, LOL!).

Am I the only one who hasn't heard this before?

I wondered about that too. How does that resemble a pizza press? I mean, I don't know what a pizza press is, but how would that move look like one. I guess I'm out of the loop too!

Many years ago I remember hearing the term 'pizza press' for this move and I think it was at Elaine Powers (now I'm really dating myself!!). They would say to get the proper position you have to pretend you're balancing a pizza on the bottom of your foot. I guess that's how pizza got involved...
