Dexter

Homeland

I forgot about Walking Dead (gee, I watch way more TV than in realized!), although I usually watch that later in the week. Yeah, Rick's evolved over the hiatus...

Love Dexter, but gave up Showtime a couple of years ago. Maybe someday I'll see Homeland...I hear its wonderful.

Oh ya, Rick is a hot tamale :p;)

Lorrie has got to be eaten by zombies (I know this is harsh, she is indeed pregnant). Her character is flat and has no dimension. She has been this way since S1 and her character remains the same in S3, even though the world is catastrophic, she is possible carrying Shayne's child (who turned out to be a douchebag and was turned into a zombie -- I kinda miss him though :D), her son almost died, and her marriage is over. Rick is too good for her, always was. Notice how AMC in notoriously famous for their female characters and our intense hatred towards them: Breaking Bad (Sylar), Mad Men (Betty), The Walking Dead (Lorrie).

I miss Shane. More accurately I miss Shane's pecs. There. Somebody had to say it. :)

Oh I know! What's up with that??? Why is it so difficult for them to write likeable, strong female characters?

As for me, I was totally hoping Hershel would've went zombie and chomped on Lori's face! :p Oh I'm so eeeeevil!

Let's see, here's my list:

Gosh, I thought it was me who was being too sensitive  Even with the Killing's Sarah Linden - she was SO FRIGGING GLOOMY. Even though she was right and she was brilliant, I just screamed at her to CRACK A SMILE and standup to the idiot men. :D

Oh, reality tv! I forgot about my guiltiest of TV pleasures, thanks to my sister who made me watch this show with her when I was sick and she was taking care of me (yes, she's the best). It's not on yet this year, but the new season should be starting soon: Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. I don't watch any of the other Real Housewives shows, but I wouldn't miss this one. Don't know why, but I really enjoy it.

Tracy, I'm glad you mentioned Call the Midwife. I've been enjoying it. I learned about it in a newspaper article that described it as sentimental, which I agree with but I like it anyway.

For those of you who haven't seen it, Call the Midwife is an 8-week PBS series of 1-hr programs about a young nurse from a well-to-do family who joins a group of nuns who provide midwifery (and occasionally other nursing) services to people in the poor east end of London in 1957. She apparently is escaping a love affair gone wrong, although the details have yet to be revealed (no spoiler alert needed here because this is something viewers know up front). The previously broadcast episodes are available in their entirety online. You probably do not need to watch them in order to make sense of the show.

The Good Wife
Parenthood
The middle
Chicago Fire
Blue Bloods.

I try to limit my tv watching on the weekendsI turn on Hallmar and let whatever is on play while I do my chores.
