extra workout

I also like to go too the gym every other day to get a good cardio workout. It seems to help me feel like I'm accomplishing a little bit more. Does anyone else go to a gym to? It also helps being around other people trying to do the same thing as me. Workout and workout as hard as possible. I don't have any machines in my house. I don;t have the room 0r the money for that fact. So the gym keeps me in the cardio sector or working out! Much needed when you're trying to lose weight. and it's working. thank God!
 
I joined a gym a few years ago for another cardio option. I mostly go there to run on the treadmill but will occasionally use the other cardio equipment. I never do my weight work there. I hate the machines and am too intimidated to go into the free weights section. Some of those guys are S-C-A-R-E-Y!:eek:

That being said, if I had room for a treadmill in my home I would give up my gym membership w/o a second thought!

I know, going to the gym into the weight area is so intimidating. All those buff guys make you feel small and weak. that's why i do my weights at home to. I use the treadmill and do the leg machines and do a few sit-ups,that's it. The weight area is off limits to the intimidated, me!
 
I do venture into the free weight area but I definitely feel intimidated. There is just too much sweating and grunting going on in there:eek:!

Not me. I detest the gym. I prefer to work out alone and can't stand waiting for machines. I do take tae kwon do classes, and use that as my cardio. But most everyone at the school are friends now and it's much different than a gym. Loads of fun and positive energy. Plus, my BF is the manager. :D
