tytbody,
You said something that really *struck* me:
"you see, I'm looking for something, some thing to get me in a room and do it. If it's not the room there has to be more motivation in doing exercise and since I've not gotten it yet, I thought maybe a cool room would help. "
Having, creating, or building a special room is not going to be enough motivation to get to to stick to a workout plan. You don't need to look at "objects" (rooms, equipment, dvds) for your motivation, you need to be looking within yourself, the motivation HAS to come from inside otherwise your efforts won't stick. You cannot leave it up to unanimate objects. You need to be driven to do it in the rawest of conditions.
I say, don't spend another dime on workout stuff until you make a 3 month workout plan (or whatever time span you need) and stick to it perfectly. Prove to yourself that you are willing to do the work in the rawest of conditions, THEN beef up your space.
Not trying to piss you off, just trying to give you something to think about before you spend more $$$.
