Good Morning All,
Overall I've been doing good.
I did get distracted when I was eating dinner on my own (the DH was gone that night). I was reading and noticed I was no longer hungry. I was planning on getting up and putting away the approx. 1/4 cup chili left in my bowl for later. Somewhere along the line I mindlessly ate it. I went to the kitchen and was rinsing the bowl when I did a mental head smack because I didn't even remember eating it. BUT.... I realized I did this, so it is a step in the right direction. NO EATING and Doing other things at the same time. It DOES promote automatic eating.
Pam, Good job at the funeral. You just helped reinforce a good habit (a very hard one to get into too).
CLango, Are you hoping to make the move? Either way, I hope things go your way and good luck. Here's the cliff notes version of my decision to switch to Whole Milk. 1) Vitamin D and A are fat soluable, The fat helps you absorb it (and Vitamin D is required to absorb Calcium and I don't get as much sunlight as I should) 2) Skim Milk needs added vitamins and they add other questionable things to it. 3) It was the easiest thing from Real Food for me to change and try and the DH loves Whole Milk. The author came off as an "organic extremist" (to me) at first, but she appears to be backing off a bit as I read further. I'm not ready to go "whole hog" on her ideas yet, but I will consider them (and research them further).
Soooo how's everyone else doing?
