Energy Sprint !!!!!!!!

Hi All,

I made it through Karen Voight's Energy Sprint ! I did it for the first time tonight and I really enjoyed it. And I was pleasantly surprised to see MS Vought smiling. I did feel, however, a bit like an extra from 'Fame' with all those ballet type movements, and pointed toes ! But, boy do I ache ? And are those sprint timers for real, or are they making it up as they go along ?
Still, it challenged me and I shall repeat the experience on Saturday night !

I have always liked Energy Sprint myself and I do it from time to time when I feel like a break from Cathe. I really like the music. I think that it is actually quite rigorous if you really do "go down to go up" as Karen says. I never do the weights workout afterwards as I do think Cathe is more comprehensive.

And by the way, don't be put off by people saying Rhythmic Step is not for the choreographically-challenged. I love this tape. I had all the moves down after three times through the video and I am someone who has dropped out of several mambo, flamenco etc. dance classes because I couldn't remember the steps! RS is great for days when you want a sustained calorie burn without having to do 90 million "power 15's" because you've had a hard day with the kids or you have chronic PMS! I find it speaks to my soul through the music and that works too you know!

I too love the music in Energy Sprint, especially in the 5 minute cardio section, I wish that section had been longer :-(
But still, I am going to repeat it again tonight, and work harder, I am going to give it some welly. I didn't sweat as much as I would of liked last night but I have put that down to the fact that I was getting used to the moves. My backside really aches today :)
