Hi All,
Please bear with me if this topic has been discussed before, but I am looking for some up-to-date info!!
I am currently 4 months pregnant with my first (due 20th January and can't wait!!). My question is this:
I'd really like to give my abs all the help they can get after the birth and wondered if any of you have any experience of using one of those ab machines - you know, the ones which you stick to your stomach and it sends an electrical current to contract the muscles?
For those of you who have (or haven't) had children, has it helped to tone up this troublesome area? If so, to what degree?
I have always been an avid exerciser (not so much since becoming pregnant due to tiredness/sickness, etc!!), so, for me, exercise will remain an important, positive and enjoyable part of my life. However, if one of these devices will help to whip my (no doubt!) blancmangey stomach muscles back into shape after the birth, I would certainly value the extra help!
Many thanks for any advice!
Kaz.
