Eat Right For Your Type

Does anyone follow this diet/lifestyle? I read the book years ago and just came across it again recently. I am a Type B and should eliminate chicken and eat goat, lamb, mutton, rabbit and venison. Yuck!

Just wanted to reply here because I have been following ( about 80 percent ) the Eat Right for your Type diet and have found that YES it really does work. Given you are ok with eating the foods listed for you that are Beneficial and Neutral. What's cool is: I am a "B" type as well and this is the best type to be because we are the lucky ones that get to eat pretty much from all food groups. Yes we are not supposed to eat chicken, pork, bacon, peanuts, peanut butter, corn ,wheat , and barley, however, we CAN have beef -in the neutral category ( think T-bones here ) and can also have Turkey. I love the fact that I can still have my yogurt and granola in the mornings , soups and salads for lunch and my protiens and veggies for supper. I work this in with the Eat Clean diet from Tosca Reno as well. BUT there are still foods that I refuse to let go of. Number one being Ice Cream :p ( which is supposed to be a "Type B" no-no. )
I have never liked eating breads so it was nice to be introduced to what I call miracle products called Ezekiel, Spelt, and Rice Breads. It is a very legit diet/lifestyle, however I noticed that it calls for quite a bit of organic products which can get expensive. As with anything, I then modify and get as much as I can out of it. Bottom line: It's done wonders for me. Give it a try, you might be surprized.

I just had some grilled/bar-b-qued lamb awhile ago and it was really delicious! I had never had it before...you might give it a go!:) As for the other...I'm with fit mommy;;; yuck-a-doo! I live on ckn and tky.

Thanks for the input. I just bought the Live Right 4 Your Type book yesterday. I'm going to Borders this weekend to see what recipes are in the cookbook. I'm sure I can work in a lot of the suggestions.

Yuck-a-doo!? OMG that's sooooo freakin' funny! I love it!!!!!!!!!!:D

As for meat/poultry that is to my liking...I live on chicken, turkey, fish-white, tuna and salmon, not shell-ew, turkey/chicken sausage, ham, turkey kielbasi and pork...YUM YUM!

I have no clue what type I am.

I live on fresh caught Alaskan salmon, organic chicken, lots of greek yogurt, and buffalo burgers. What group does this put me in?

What is wrong with venison? It is a very lean meat and actually very good!
 
If you had a father, brother and brothers-in-law who hunted deer and talked about killing and gutting the animal at the dinner table, you wouldn't eat it either.
