Early Morning workout check-in?

I have been reading lots of posts with people wanting to workout early. I really need to incorporate this into my life because working out after work is just not happening consistently for me. This change will not be easy, so I think I need some support and motivation.

Does anyone want to have an early morning workout check-in? Maybe if we are accountable to each other it will get us out of bed!!
 
Karin, I would like to join you! I tried the afternoon workouts recently because it was hard for me to get up earlier than I was used to but it's not working. I was really spoiled by this last semester at school...I didn't have a class until lunchtime so I didn't work out until DD went to school. This next semester I'll have to have my workout and shower in BEFORE she goes to school so I'm trying NOW to get back into early am workouts so I am not struggling with it when I'm back to classes and an internship.

No early am workout for me today, though. I didn't drink anything but stayed up later than I am used to and DH has the day off today so I slept in a bit.
 
I'd be happy to join too. I'll be working out 5am EST.

I wish Cathe had a WOWY component to the site like beachbody has.
 
I could on some days but I am generally leaving for work @ 6:00am and a 4:00am workout just ain't happenin' :eek:
 
For years I've been saying that I need to workout in the morning b/c I tend to get busy with other things after work and then before I know it, it is time for bed and I haven't worked out. I also have 2 young children and I like to spend time with them in the evenings.

I will need to get up at 4:00am though, so that is what is holding me back.

I'll keep my eyes open for your check-in though. Perhaps someone can give me some tips to make it do-able.

I will join you in the A.M.! I was always an a.m. workout person until I started teaching and I have to be at school at 7:00. I still get up early, but instead I fix coffee and start working on lessons, paper work, etc. This has been going on for two years! Now my body has completely changed (mushy!!) and my lbs. have gone up! I've tried working out in the evening, but it just doesn't happen due to my family activities!

I'd love to join you starting tomorrow! I'll start with Cathe's IMAX 2 tomorrow! Will check in then...

This sounds fantastic. I will be getting up at 5:30 and working out from 6-7 EST. Thanks so much for starting this.

I'll be getting up as usual, but my time is so scheduled that I wake up, exercise, get ready for work etc with no time to turn on my compu to do a check-in for anything! but I'll be there!
 
I'm thrilled that Karin took the initiative to start the check in!! I was thinking the exact same thing!!

i already workout in the morning and i'm one of those dreaded morning people:p but i would love to just check in with you guys and offer any advice and motivation to keep you getting up at the crack of dawn.;-)
 
Hi Karin,

I am up for this. I am PLANNING to get up and do a treadmill run in the morning. Now whether that will happen or not is another story but I'm feeling pretty committed right now...which is good considering the fact it's nearly midnight... haha I'll let you know! :)
