Hi everyone!

Thank you to everyone for your support with my injury - it means a lot. My husband and friends just don't get it when I whine about no running or spinning! This is my first injury caused by exercising. I know I should rest the muscle, but we are going on vacation in 11 days and I know I will be taking a lot of time off then, so I feel kind of pressured to get my workouts in now.

Hope that everyone else who has injuries heals quickly!! And Kelly, hope you get to a doctor about your eyes - that is scary.

Debbie - can't wait to hear the good news!!

Emily - you will get your life back - that first year can be really tough. For me, as soon as it seemed like I got into a routine with my babies, they would change their schedule!!

Suzanne - that is terrible about the dog attack! I'm glad that you and your dog will be ok.

honeybunch - glad you are getting good results from the Lower Body Solution!! I might have to try it sometime! And that you weren't hurt when you fell during Step Fit - sounds like you got lucky!!

Take care everyone! See you next week!

RE: June 10 check-in

Hi everyone. Trevor, enjoy Montreal. I live in Saskatchewan and have never been farther east than Kenora, Ontario. Someday.

Erica, take it from me - a few days off now or even a week may mean a lot less time later. Perhaps concentrate on some upper body work for just a bit.

Ruth, take care of those elbows. At the very least, an upper body injury does not affect your ability to get good cardio workouts in.

As for me, I had a pretty good week. Here it is:

Monday - 45 minute walk/run

Tuesday - PS BBA in a.m. and ball game in p.m.

Wednesday - rest

Thursday - Happy Hour Hi Lo in a.m. and ball game in p.m.

Friday - PS CST

Saturday - Cardio Kicks and a serious day of yard work so my yard no longer had to be the ugliest on the street. Lots of sweat and a sunburn.

Sunday - PS SLA and a ball practice

It is Monday morning and I am just about to do Step Fit or Power Max before I get ready to take off on my date's BMW motorcycle for a week in Alberta at Calgary, Banff, etc. It is raining where I live now but hopefully that will subside before we take off. I guess walking, hiking and push ups will be my exercise staple this week.

Have an excellent week everyone.

Kelly, Cardio Parties

I didn't like it the first time either, and only made it halfway thru. The second time I did it was much better, although I still like 9905 hi/lo better. But Cardio Parties is a keeper. Give it one more try.

Andrea

THANKS TO EVERYONE

All--Thanks for the encouring words about my dog bite. The folks on this forum are the best. Ruth--I didn't know that it could get septic--the doctors warned me about infection, but nothing like that! In fact, at the ER, they told me that dog bites generally were "clean." My doctor was worried about one of the wounds because it's pretty deep. I've been keeping a close eye on things, and I think everything healing well. It hurts only occasionally now -- mostly the two worst bite holes itch like the dickens! Tomorrow, I'm going in to have them checked, so keep your fingers crossed! Anyway, I just wanted to thank everyone for their good wishes, encouragement, sympathy, etc. Hope everyone's having an excellent week! Suzanne
