I think my Vlad has ear-buggies
He was shaking his head alot the day before yest, and I didn't see him yest. I just got home today and his head is shaking and ears are flapping. I looked inside and the one ear is pink and scaly with dried blood/goo in the ear canal. From previous dogs, I am pretty sure its mites. The vet is booked til Monday evening, as it isn't an emergency. I cleared his ear out with Qtips and warm water best as I could. Anybody have any good at-home treatments til we see the vet? Or at least a good way to keep the itchies at bay? I'm not too concerned about the cat getting them because they normally don't hang out together.
Thanks,
Nan
