Dumb question about abs

You can do ab work.

The abs are a rather small muscle group, so working them isn't going to put a lot of stress on the body.

I actually like doing core work as a basis for recovery weeks (along with stretching and moderate cardio).

Okay, thanks Kathryn. That was kind of my line of thinking. Actually, I may do a week of Pilates during the recovery week; might be a nice change of pace and challenge my abs differently.

I was thinking I'd "save" the STS Pilates / Yoga based abs for recovery week along with X+ Core...

I'm using the other STS abs + CLX Abs during the regular workout weeks.

Kathryn,
Would All the right moves, or squeeze work for recovery week?
I'm not familiar with ATRM, but I think Squeeze can be pretty intense, especially for lower body. Also, there may be light weights, but there are a lot of reps, aren't there?

You could try it and see, especially if you use it maybe twice during recovery week, and surround it with stretching etc.

The original squeeze doesn't use weights. It's very similar to barre type workouts.
