Download Instructions For Your 2nd Free Cathe LMR2 Bonus Workout

Just finished this workout today. Definitely feeling worked - ready for a shower and a good meal.

Heavier weight workouts with no cardio and slower pace are much preferred. And because it's a heavy lower body workout, I'm still going to get my heart rate up, regardless.
Thank you for the wonderful review. I am still waiting for it to be uploaded to On Demand.

@Kellyro77 ,
Thanks for the thorough review!

I had to chuckle at this:
Step ups with heavy weight was new. Have to give yourself a little mental "you can do it!" pep talk with those. At least for me, it's a little scary thinking of doing those with heavier weights. I appreciated her throwing in lateral step ups.
When I first got Intensity series' Pyramids dvd, I had a similiar feeling with the step ups using a barbell! Oh my, I was scared! After one set with the barbell, I quickly switched out to dumbells! I've never tempted it with a barbell again! Lol. :)

I can't concentrate for being concerned with the barbell so I use dumbbells, too!

I love step ups.....Well my glutes love them. I am happy Cathe brought this back with lateral step ups.
@Kellyro77 if you think traditional step up with heavy dumbbells is scary, What do you think of the use of barbell instead of dumbbells? You should try pyramid if you have never tried :D :D :D
That is such an animal that really hit the glutes. Pure gem
Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

I don't have a barbell, so I've never done those with one. Yes, the Pyramid series from Intensity is really good. PUB and PLB were my go-to for strength training workouts for a long, long time.

I should fit them back into a rotation again sometime. I remember doing them once after doing the 90-day XTrain rotation - was fun to see I could heavy-up after XTrain, but I did have to drop back to my old marked weights when it came to the bicep curls. I always laugh when she starts talking bout having an outer-body experience during those.

I haven't done the step-ups with a barbell yet, because I haven't been back to workout out for long enough to be that advanced. Back when I was, though, I used a curl bar (instead of barbell). Somehow... it's shorter length seemed more balanced and less intimidating to me when I stepped up. Probably just in my head, but it seemed less scary to me. lol

I must admit using a barbell for step ups is a double-edged sword to anyone able to do both.

Just as I previously mentioned, when I heard cathe calling for the use of barbell for step ups I was like :"Pretty really? do I really have to step up with my favourite toy?" lol :D Then I thought it is all in my head. I opted for the barbell. Once I stepped up and down keeping balance through stabilisers/core I felt a needles on the chick:D Yeah and I carried on without switching to dumbbells. It felt great physically and mentally. An all out pump.

it is scary and empowering once done!

We know everyone is anxious to start using Lower Body Strength on Cathe OnDemand, but it's really impossible to give a date when it comes to any new Cathe OnDemand release. The reason is that uploading and launching a new video on Cathe OnDemand is a very complex procedure because of all the connections that have to be made to our Workout Blender and various apps.

Though we do 97% of the work internally, the last 3% has to be done by an outside contractor. How long it takes them to complete their work depends on how busy they are and what problems they encounter in trying to make the final connections. This is why we never give dates for a new Cathe OnDemand release, except to say it will be done as soon as possible after the download is released.

SNM - could you start the work on the new downloads weeks before your announced release date, so that they could be ready and in the workout blender by your release date? I understand from your post that it is a very technical and time consuming process but perhaps starting earlier would eliminate some of the delay in posting to On Demand. Just wondering… Thank you for all of your efforts.

No, that's not really possible to do. Being a small business, we don't have a lot of spare time around here to begin with, and we already work crazy hours. For example, two weeks ago our entire staff was working 16-hour days preparing for and running the 2025 Cathe road trip.

We work as fast as we can, but I doubt we will ever attempt to release downloads and new releases on Cathe OnDemand at the same time. It's just way too complicated and too much work to try to do this at the same time, and our customer service team would also be overwhelmed.

Likewise, as a Cathe OnDemand subscriber, you will get our new Cathe Live broadcast each week before download customers do, and you will probably get the new LMR2 workouts before many DVD customers get theirs. So, every type of media has its advantages and disadvantages as far as delivery goes, but there really isn't a big difference in when you will receive a new release.

Cathletes! Please remember to post your thoughts, impressions, reviews & comments here! Thanks.
Today 07/08/2025, I tried LMR2 free bonus workout. It felt great with enough resting time between exercises. The quality of the download is at usual Cathe dot com standard and I am wondering what type of elevation to expect as far as the quality of the product is concerned. I feel spoiled. This is a freebie ladies and gents. In between the content, cathe sprinkled in some new moves. For example: “Quad lean back”. This, in my opinion, can replace sissy quat working out from home without the proper gym equipment. “One single leg deadlift” with rotation is another, relatively new move. I love this move and we can go as heavy as we are able to on the day.

  • There are 3 sets of squats, 2 of them are warm up. Yes, we need that to warm up to 20 25 pounds. 10kg
  • Deadlift, I lifted slightly less than the crew and should lift more next time. 11,5kg I planned to use my barbell to go super heavy but ended up not using it. Next time I will use it to add some variety. There are few sets of deadlifts with variation and I happy with that. Yes, my cheeks were happy alongside my lower back.
  • Goblet squats I also lifted less than I normally can. 8kg narrow stance is my preferred stance. I need to hit my sweep area.
  • Single leg deadlift 10kg feels enough to build up for faster speed with good form.
  • Crossback lunge felt good for 10kg. I shall try heavier to increase the heart rate.
  • Push dip, 7,5kg was enough for me. This was challenging with up heed and ball of the foot pushing. I personally ensure to travel from the back leg. That way it cooks better and I look prettier lol:D;)
  • Quad lean back, Cathe gave too options for foot position. I opted for the elevated foot pushing/stamping the ball of the foot onto the mat. Because When I switched to this option my quads said “hello” lol :D :D yes, I know : “I have got to feel the pump right:D;) ”.
Overall, I love the content a lot! Still wondering what else I could possibly get from the main series. I am happily cooked and sold!
