Doorway pull/chin up bar

I've been looking on amazon for a pull/chin up bar and there are a lot of bad reviews for all the items I've perused. Are there any products you would whole-heartedly recommend? In a perfect world I would buy a bar that doesn't need holes/screws and that can be easily placed at the beginning of a workout and taken down at the end. If this setup isn't possible I think I'm going to have to go with a band option. What do y'all think? TIA :)

I have the perfect multigym. I think I got it at Wal-Mart. I leave mine up but last week I moved it to a different doorway and it took not even a minute to get it down and put it back up. My husband did move it but I'm sure I could have done it. I have had mine for about a year and have no complaints.

My DH got me the "perfect pull up" bar from amazon when I started STS. I know it doesn't have the best reviews but I haven't had any problem with it. And I like the fact it can swing down so that I can do them like the girls in STS - I'm not strong enough to just do hanging ones. Then it can swing up and be out of the way. It does screw in, but we put it in a doorway in our basement since that's where I do my stuff anyway.

I love ours - it is the P90X Chin-up Max and hooks over the door frame.
No screws at all, and it is easy to take it down if you want to close the door; the door won't close when it's up.

It has 4 different hand positions which are cushioned for the grip.

To assist my pullups is loop a fitness tube around it; I can actually sit in the tube or rest one knee in it to assist my pullups.

Check it out - maybe you can purchase it separately from Beach Body or find one that looks like it.

Sue - I looked more closely at the p90x chinup bar. It actually does have 4 screws for 2 metal brackets above the door frame on the inside of the door; the bar inserts into the brackets; guess that makes more sense, anyway:rolleyes:
