DOMS in triceps

I hardly ever get DOMS in my triceps even when I feel them burning during the workout, that is until I did GS chest and triceps. Yeah DOMS! I love the GS workouts, I've really noticed a difference in my upper body since doing them. I'm still working on the drop sets of pushups though, I'm not even close to doing all of them!

Amy keep trying with the drop set of pushups. It's amazing the DOMS you get in your chest muscles when you do get them. The first time I did the entire set with straight legs I had DOMS for 4 days. I discovered every activity that even slightly requires chest muscles. I hadn't done GS chest and triceps in about three months and tried it again two weeks ago. I was quite pleased that I was able to do all but one set with straight legs. I did part of the ten set on bent knees but then did straight legs for the remainder.

Good job being able to do those push ups, I can't even picture being able to do them all right now. That's funny about discovering every activity that required even slight chest involvement when you had DOMS! It's so true, you do something with sore muscles and think wow I didn't know that involved that body part!
Thanks for the encouragement!

Try doing diamond push ups, or heart-to-heart push ups (same thing). Bring your hands together so the your forefingers and thumbs form a circle (or an upside down heart) and are directly below your shoulders. With wide legs, lower your body until your chest grazes your hands, and push back up. I can only do these on my knees, and cannot even go the whole way down then, but man it works my tri's and they hurt for days!

Bawhaahaa bawhhaahaa bawhaahaaa!!!! I only laugh cause I so remember this and I am planning to revisit the gym styles next week. I am askeered!!!!
