...really feel it in the lower leg when doing lounges? I hear all this talk about how great lounges are for the quads, glutes, and hamstrings, but what about the gastroc and the soleus (spelling?)? When I do lounges, I really feel it in the gastroc and soleus of the back leg. Usually those muscles burn out before my quads do. I do a lot of step so I have really buff calves, they are very solid and strong. I make sure my shoulders are over my hips, so I don't think my form is bad. Does this happen to anybody else?
Oh, and its not 'pain' I feel, its just the burn of latic acid in the muscles.
