Does anyone else watch Mad Men?

Laura - They made up a bunch of stuff for the tv series. Tara was actually a bit of a weak character in the books. Sookie is always having to save her butt. Lafayette obviously has no role in the books and Jason never had that girlfriend and there is no such thing as "V". Eric is also more the main guy as the books go along, not Bill. I'm interested to see how the series handles that. I'm still mad about them making Bill the one who saved her from the one vamp. Eric did that!!! >:l

Oh and thanks for the hair compliment!!! I needed something more "Fall'-sh" ;)

Well then, I'm glad they made that stuff up. Frankly it's better than the stuff Harris wrote.

P.S. Getting my new fall-ish color next week. ;)

Yes, love the hair!

Yes, mad that Bill saved her. Also mad that they made Eric look like a fool in front of that annoying queen. How could they butcher the story like that?! It scares me to think of what they'll do next season and to think I was so excited with the Godric episode. Hmm oh well at least there is still Eric and Pam.

Gabrielle, I don't think your taste in TV is odd, The Wire is one of the best shows EVER!!!

Mad Men is really good as well. I feel sorry for the Draper kids, though. I can't even imagine the $$$ they will be spending on therapy considering their horrible parents.

I loooooove Mad Men. The clothes, the story line, etc. I used to work in advertising, so it's fun to see how some things have changed, and shockingly, many things are still the same in the industry.
