Do you workout for more than an hour?

Does anyone know why yoga should not be done during TTOM....I don't get it? :(

thanks so much

You don't ever want to do an inversion (down ward facing dog, noes to your toes.) your blood pressure is an issue (can fall drastically.) and your body is pumping out a hormone that softens all of your tissues and can make you too flexible, you can push beyond your natural range of motion, and hurt yourself. So I skip the yoga.

My first (and probably last) yoga workout dvds came when I received LIS! I don't ascribe to the energy flow thing, so I will continue on in my world....:D

You are too funny Tracy...:p...I'm not sure about yoga's benefits working on me, I tend to get sleepy.

Regarding this post, I tend to do something with weights in the morning. In the evening I'll do something cardio which is mainly outdoors depending on the season. We've had no snow this winter which is driving me crazy, so right now its indoor cardio, about an hour. If there was snow, its more like one hour in the morning and 2 and 1/2 hours in the afternoon.

I have run the gammit from doing a solid hour 6 days per week to up to 90 minutes (in one session) on weekends and back down to the other end of the spectrum where I am right now of doing an average of just 30 minutes per day!

It changes according to my rotation and what I need or hope to gain from what I am doing. Ofcourse when I did STS it consumed more of my time but right now I am concentrating on short but super intense work outs and usually spend only about 30 minutes per day working out.

That said, I've never been a 2 work out per day girl except for squeezing in P90X yoga in the evenings once a week after having done a regular X work out in the morning. I don't feel I need to do that much nor do I have the time for it even if I WANTED to! I love exercising but don't want to spend the majority of my free time doing it.
