I was 90 to 120 minutes a day from age 13 to 29 - until I had kids...lost all the weight, just doing The Firm (old ones) for an hour a day....then down to 30 minutes circuits in my 30's and kept my weight down...now its 30-60 minutes 4x a week.
BECAUSE - all those years of consistency have worn out my joints and cartilage and after 30 years of no injuries, they are coming fast and furiously! But the heart and bones are great!
I figure if I'm miserable, why fight it? There may be a good reason. (Or, in the case of this week, 250 good reasons! Dear me I don't know what possessed me to think that 250 walking lunges were a good idea...)
