Do you have a weight range or just one number?

A cashmere robe?!? Now THAT's self-indulgence!!! :)

I'm also a What Not to Wear addict. That's where I got the idea that I could buy the regular jeans and have them shortened. :) Stacey and Clinton also have me buying pointy-toed shoes. Now I hate my round ones.

HA! I'm not a "clean eater" either....I just had a chocolate Pop Tart for my mid-afternoon snack. With a glass of pinot noir.

Since I find that weight can fluctuate so much (at least within a few pounds), I have what I call a 'hovering point." It's a weight that I can go 1 -1.5# above without feeling there is a problem, but that I try to keep at or a little below.

Right now, I'm hovering at 130, which is what my 'low weight' has been since around 1988. It's fine, but I'd like to hover around 125#.

I feel like a monster! I'm 5' 6'' and weigh around 143lbs (well, that was 18 months ago - I never weigh myself!). I'm a size 10 and feel great.

I go on how my clothes feel, not by weight.

It takes all types, I guess!

I like myself at around 115... now I'm up to 120. I call it my winter weight. But I try to remember to really focus on how I look in clothes, not the number on the scale, which can be deceiving IMO.

Also keep in mind that everyone carries fat differently. I consistently carry it in my middle (yuck), so if I lose too much weight, my upper body starts to look too skinny, cuz of course you can't spot lose. I've got a friend who carries excess weight in her legs, and if she loses too much, her waist and face actually start to look too thin. Go figure!

I like to stay around 132-137. This is where i'm most comfortable but it takes work to stay in this range. Usually when i'm weighing
132 people start saying that i'm teetering on the "too skinny" side. Right now i've been digging into the easter M&M's so i'm definitely not 132 right now! :9 I like to go by how my clothes fit also and I know this is more important, but for some reason I weigh myself everyday.

I stay at 140 (I'm 5'8"). I'm a size 6. Although I could go 5-8 lighter with a clean diet. That thought just hasn't evolved into a working plan.x(

I'ts tough looking at my husband with his lean build. He lost 75 # over 2 years by cycling the hills of W PA back and forth to work (13 mi ea. way) and teaching Spin 2x week.

I'm comfortable at 140 but know I would be pleased at 132. Guess I will have to dream about it for now.;-)

Weight seems to be so meaningless. My secretary, who is about an inch or two taller than me, weighs about 20 lbs. more than me and we wear the same size! I think she's much more muscular than I am, and looks better than me too. I have a tendency to kind of fade away when I'm not exercising, and not in a good way. :( I really want to slowly increase my weight training this year.

My ideal weight is 130. I would be happy anywhere between 130 - 135. I was there last year at this time, but now I've got a little ground to cover to get back. I feel like a giant on this board though cuz' I'm 5'8"! When I was heavy into competitive figure skating, I was leaned down to 125, but I'd be happy with the 130's. ;)

Hey Wendy, don't worry about that number. It's so arbitrary depending on your body!

I'm 5'2" and weigh 137....and I'm a size 6. If I go below 130 I look sickly. It's all about your body makeup.

I never weigh myself either - so that number above is from my last doctor's visit about a year ago! :)

>I have my body fat done every year and use that to estimate

I admire your self-esteem in the face of such a tacky comment. I get the feeling that "non-exerciser" was excusing her own lack of fitness by taking a shot at you. Not nice.

As long as you feel good about yourself regardless of a number on the scale. I also liked the responder who said she never weighed herself...

You both rock.

I know you are right! Thanks for the reminder!:) :) :)

I range from 127-132 basically and my face is already on the thin side! I'm afraid to lose any more weight cause if my face gets any thinner it won't look good.

Okay, tiny people (who are most of you according to your height/weight!) shouldn't even worry about those 1-5 lbs of fluctuation. I can get addicted to the scale so I try, and try being the keyword, not to get hung up on numbers. I'm barely 5' and weigh about 115 lbs more or less. I used to weight 110 lbs, but after doing more weight training, I haven't been able to go down to 110lbs. However, I wear a size 2 and I think I look a nicer shape and tone from when I was 110. I was like cardio queen with very little muscle definition. I excercise very regularly, but admit that I don't always eat clean. I eat pretty healthy for the most part, but I will indulge in desserts once in awhile if we go out to dinner and yes, I do drink wine. When I tell people how much I weigh, they act surprised. I'm like hello, I'm not fat by any means, but I'm not a skinny waif either.

LauraMax - I could only wish I could ever be as tiny as you. I do try to stay within a certain weight limit of 2-3 lbs.

Donna - I had the best pinot noir on Monday night. It was called "Cycles Gladiator." A $15 bottle, but so worth it - money and calories.

Im 5'3" as well but could never get to 115, I would look sick.
I look good at 125 lbs but the scale usually goes between 128-130.I find it hard to maintain 125. Anything higher then 130 and my clothes feel tight.
Lori:)

I am another no scale girl. I know I would become obsessed with a number and that isn't what my goal is. I want to feel good, look good to me, and be healthy.

I TRY to stay away from the scale, but you know, old habits die hard.

I am like Kathyrn in that I'd LOVE to hover around 125, but for the last year or so, I've been hovering around 135. My SO actually didn't want me to lose weight because he thought that was the perfect weight for me, but I was starting to feel chubby, since any extra weight on me tends to sit in the hips and butt (ok, and the boobs, so at least it evens out, but it's still too fleshy for me!). I'm 5'5 and am now about 130. I am mostly a 6, occasionally a 4 or an 8 depending on the cut and vanity sizing.

What's REALLY funny is long ago, after I gave birth to my second son, my weight hovered at 135 for a couple of years (he is now 8), but I was a MUCH larger size. Amazing what weight training does for you!

Oh, and I also get really sickly looking too when my weight is too low. Not that I remember that now.... ;-)
