DO ANY OF YOUR HUSBANDS DO CATHY?

I can relate. Dh hates that I "chat" online on these types of forums too. It's a safety thing to him. He does work out at work (military), but I can't get him to try Cathe. I think he's afraid! :7

Nope. I'd die laughing if he did though. He gets no exercise. Although he claims that his work is tough enough (he's a mason). I wish that he would get in some type of cardio though - he's about 10-15lbs overweight.

My DH probably would if I promised not to watch :) He is looking forward to doing PX90, which we ordered and plan to start in January. He gets a fair amount of exercise from hauling logs and working in the yard, plus he walks with me 3-4 times a week - usually with a coffee cup in his hand though!

:+ }( :7 :p }( :D :+--my dh w/o to Cathe:+ }( :7 :p }( :D :+. He makes up SOOOOOOO many excuses, it's pathetic.

Ok many of you have seen my pics, seen my dh, he's into bodybuilding, has been into it for MANY YEARS. I honestly think he embarassed to do a Cathe w/o, b/c he won't be able to keep up and WILL NOT admit to it. So freaking macho, makes me sick.

Only once we did Cathe's KPC, man I laughed so hard on the inside. Talking about no coordination. My dh reminded me of "Barney or Spongebob" trying to do cardio. He is so stiff, you would think he's seen a taxidermist or something. And everytime I want him to do S&H with me or any of the Gym Styles, all I get is, "You get up way too early for me".

Chicken.

No, my hubby won't do Cathe, but he does work out 6 days a week at the gym. He has made the comment to me though, that he could not do what I do (this was after watching Rhythmic Step) and that he's impressed with my coordination.

He's also made the comment that I talk to Cathe while doing a video as much as she talks to me... Oh well, what can I say?

He's not my DH but we are engaged but he does workout with cathe. He likes slow and heavy best but will do a few of the others when when he commits to do a rotation with me. (he's not a step fan though) Sometimes he will do his own thing while I'm doing a cathe video, like free weights or cycling. But I think he actually enjoys the weight lifting, oh and KPC is another one he really likes. He used to call her a pyscho but now he's impressed with his results, so all is well :)

Oh Haydee...I know exactly what you are talking about. I got DH to try Cathe with me and looked the same way! He was so uncoordinated, but I couldn't laugh because I knew he would stop....so I just giggled on the inside. He will do PUB with me though when I do that one.

Missy,
On the side.....your children look my brothers and sisters when they were children....wow! Thank you for the lovely pictures and for me.....the memories....I am going to call my sister now.

I bet my husband a few years ago that he couldn't finish a Cathe tapeHe chose a tape an went at it - I can't remember which one but it was an easy step tape. At the time I was on 8" or sometimes 10" and working out pretty hard. I told him that he had to do it just like the tape - with the claps and all!

He is 6'4" and bikes regularly. He was quite out of breath and couldn't finish it. Not because he wasn't up to the task but at that height and on top of the step, his hands kept hitting the ceiling!!!!

Highlight - the slap claps. The was slapping his butt and laughing.

I'm not married, but my bf was making fun last night, and telling me I'm sore because "I'm doing it wrong". He's never even watched Cathe, yet he's sure it's wrong and wimpy...so I challenged him and we're going to do PUB this weekend. I can't wait!!}( :D
