Did Cathe for first time

Well, last night I finally dipped my toe in the Cathe pond. Ok, so I plunged, but that's just my style.

I did CTX Kickbox all the way through...first shot. I was SO happy and SO relieved. I'd been hearing about how tough Cathe was and was afraid that it was so advanced that I would not make it through...I am a solid intermediate.

I found Cathe's cuing to be absolutely exceptional. The routine was easy to follow and fun. I like Cathe's laid back manner. And BOY am I feeling it today!

So I guess all those years of FIRMing and Step Reebok have paid off. I am looking forward to doing more tapes in my ever growing Cathe collection!
 
Congrats! Her cueing is phenomenal. Cathe amazes me in the sense that her videos are polished, professional, and error free, yet they have a live class feel and aren't edited to death and 'staged' which is how The Firms appeared to be to me. Did you enjoy the 32 reps of power scissors? Yikes! I read your post that said you did 3 days of cardio and three days of strength training. That is exactly what I do too. If you ever need any rotation ideas, just let me know. And again congrats! Pat yourself on the back, as Cathe says, "If you can get your arm back there."
 
Yeeeeah Samantha! WELCOME to the Cathe Club! You picked a good one to start with, not too hard, not too easy. (NO Cathe vid is EASY!) Have fun learning your new tapes. You are in for lots of FUN!

Well, I really like Cathe, but staged or not, I really love my FIRMs, too...after all they got me where I am now :) And the more I do the new FitPrime's the more I like them, too. So I think with the Cathe's I now have a very well rounded video collection.

I'd like to find some rotations that incorporate Cathe and the FIRMs (since I have all 70 of them). If you have any suggestions, that would be really great! Thanks!

If you goto the FIRM Ya Ya's website you can find samples of rotations using both Cathe and FIRM videos.

Hi Samantha,

I am really pleased you enyoyed your first Cathe workout :) ! Isn't she great ? And I have to agree with you on the cueing, it is the best I have ever seen. So far, I am mastering the Wedding video (I only have this one and Mega Step Blast), which I love, and did the whole tape last night, because I felt really good after the step section ! I've got Cardio Kicks, Powermax, Circuit Max, and Interval Max on its way to me this week and I can't wait ! :7

I got to Cathe via the Firm, too! I have been exercising with Cathe for almost a year now. I used to do different videos but now it's just Cathe every time I do a video.

I started with the Firm Volume 1, then 2 and 3, then tried 4 and 6 and Cardio, Strength, Tough Tape, Standing Legs, Upper Body. Got rid of all but Vols 1,2,3 and Tough Tape.

Welcome to Cathe land! And Bernard, watch out for that Interval Max, it grows on you!
