WTH happened to this show? We seen all of 5 episodes before Christmas, one after Christmas and then nothing. I know everyone says it's because of the writer's strike, but then why are all the other shows on without hardly any interruptions? I'm almost to a point where I don't even want to watch this show anymore.

Private Practice is the same way.

Makes me mad. :(
 
I noticed it hasn't been on for a while.

I just wait for the DVD releases and watch them using Netflix. I've watched every season of Desperate Housewives this way. It's so much more enjoyable, even if I'm a little behind. :)
 
I don't bother with alot of shows anymore. Everything seems to be repeats. I do enjoy watching Cashmere Mafia though:) Im kind of getting over Dersperate Housewives, b/c it is starting to become to predictable and at times, outrageous.

Hey Debbie,

I don't have a clue about the Housewives (I can barely remember where the plot left off!), but I read somewhere last week (Entertainment Weekly, maybe?) that "Private Practice" is one of a few shows that ABC is just not going to start back up this year. It'll be back in the fall. By then, frankly, I'm not sure I'll care enough to watch it -- I follow too many shows as it is.

Idiotic "strategy" on ABC's part, IMHO!

P.S. Deb, your avatar -- holy cow. You rock! My arms cower in fear just thinking about working that hard. On behalf of your bi's and tri's, mine say "ouch!!" :D :eek:

We've substitued "Dexter" for Desperate Housewives . . . not sure what happened to that show but "Dexter" fills the void wonderfully. It was a Showtime series I guess.

Pick up a copy of Entertainment Weekly and it will tell you all about when each of your fave shows wil be returning. Most are due back in April, some will not return 'til Fall, others had a few more episodes in the pipeline to be able to continue. Bit of a crapshoot really, but the writers deserve their money, don't you think? I don't have cable and so I never see any of my fave shows until the entire season comes out on DVD and I have to say, I love it this way, it means I can be a real glutton in late Summer and never have to deal with cliff hangers!!! If you are tired of dealing with interruptions, you might like to view "my way!"

I totally understand. I am PO'd that is has not returned. I am also to the point where I want to boycott the show. I am so ticked every SUnday when it has something else on. WHat the heck??

Kathy S - I can't believe that about Private Practice. ABC is stupid, they have no clue when they have a good show. That's one reason I hardly watch that station. Pisses me off. Thanks about my AVI! Appreciate the comment! :)

Clare - I don't get Entertainment Weekly. Do you have any idea when "24" is coming back? Or does anyone else know?
 
I miss Desperate Housewives! Damn, it was good this year too!

"24" is one of my most favorite shows ever. (I'm in love with Jack Bauer!)... I got almost depressed hearing that it won't even run this season. It won't be back until January 2009!!!!

You gotta be kidding me. I wonder why? Could it be a combination of the writers strike and Keifer being in jail? Hmmm, I guess that would be two good reasons to wait until next year. This bums me out, though.
 
Oh goodie - I have made it through 1/2 of season 1 of 24 so I may have a chance to get through the rest before the show again:eek:

Guess I better hit the TM a bit harder and longer !
