Yes, you're right! they haven't been on in a bit. But neither have Lynette and Tom's kids. I think they're still THERE , but just haven't been the focus lately.

I'm wondering if GOD FORBID the actress that plays Lynette may want out of the show, or maybe her contract is being negotiated and they're trying to decide whether she's worth whatever she's asking for. Just idle speculation on my part.

I LOVE Desparate Housewives this year - I think it's the best season ever. The writing is wonderful, all the actresses are at the top of their game, I laugh every week when Gaby delivers her lines, I love how well-rounded all the characters are, the "good girl" Bree in the sleazy motel affair, the "shallow supermodel" Gaby actually cooking dinner and home-schooling her kids, Susan being something other than klutzy. LOVE it LOVE it. The only thing I object to is the new Drea de Matteo character, I love the character but do the new characters ALWAYS have to have criminal pasts and be hiding deep dark secrets?

Our paper today says....."Exec producer Marc Cherry told TV Guide that the plane crashing into Desperate Housewives' Dec. 6 Christmas party will kill three characters: one minor, one central and one biggie who's been on the show since season one."
Who do you think it will be? Carlos? Karl? Katherine? Who else?

Hmmm that is interesting. I did see Bree's husband on a morning talk show discussing wine. He is much hotter than the role he plays on DH.
