Good Morning Girls :)

Today was LL and coremax 2. It has been a while since I did LL and man, I was sweatin'! :) A very good, short and sweet leg workout. I used the same weights as Cathe.

Tracee~ I forgot to answer your baseball question the other day. The fall season for baseball is only 8 weeks long. Practice starts the week of Aug. 27th, and games start on Sept. 8th. Fall baseball is not that popular, and the boys don't even have to go to "round up" where they have informal tryouts.

Good Morning Ladies!

I overslept and missed my yoga class this morning.x( So I may do a yoga video later. I did do Leaner Legs. First time to do it and I was scared b/c I had heard how tough it was, but really no tougher than her other leg w/os. I ran out of time and will have to do Core Max this aft.

***Question***Tomorrow's schedule says p/u from GS C&T, then LIC upper body 2 x's through. That is not a premix, right? We just do the entire upper body sculpt premix two times through? Okay...who came up with this one??? Sounds brutal!
Also...on Sat....SJP, just jump, pump and abs. Is that a premix? or do we just skip the 16 min. step portion? Thanks. I want to do it right!

Deanie--Did you do the abs in LL + Core Max?

Marcy--How was the movie?

Tracee--Was today a cardio day for you? I forgot.

Good morning all.

I did Lowmax today but only the first four intervals. I just couldn't get into it this morning. Cardio is never my favorite but usually once I've started I get more excited. This time I couldn't wait until I could stop and even found my mind wandering so I kept messing up the routines. Ha!

Gin - I'm glad you're asking the question about SJP because I copied it down as just doing SJP instead of printing it out from the computer. So I'll be interested to know what the correct workout is supposed to be.

Deanie - Is baseball less popular in the fall because kids have other options like football, soccer, etc.?

Marcy - what is your plan for the recovery week?

Cheryl - I hope you'll continue to join us when we change rotations. It sounds like you've ben able to squeeze in quite a lot of exercise even though you're really busy. I hope we've been a good inspiration. :)

Gin~ I thought LL was tough!:)(i.e.~ dripping w/sweat ~ see above!!:) :) ) No, I did not do the abs in LL, although they are good, I thought just coremax 2 was enough abs for me.

Tracee~ Yes, soccer is VERY popular here in the fall. Most kids do soccer (and some kids football) in the fall, and then come and do baseball in the spring. As they get older, I understand then they stick to one sport. Do your boys do any fall sports?

* * * Answer: yes: tomorrow is GS C&T pushups, LIC upper X2. Debbie thought this one up and I am having a somewhat "dread factor" about all those pushups! There is a premix on LIC called upper body sculpt. Just go thru it once, then rewind and do again. I am using the warmup from C&T then the pushupsx( x( , skipping the warm up with LIC and going right into the routine.

on Sat. there is no premix of just jump and pump and abs. I think it was supposed to be SJP in its entirety on the original rotation. I just revised it because I didn't want to do the step part of SJP. I will do the warm up using mix and match, then go to the chapters menu and start with the hi/lo #1 and continue thru the workout. I don't like to do step 2 days in a row, and I'm doing Imax 3 on Fri. (Also, I don't care if I do 16 min less cardio, since I'm not a big cardio fan anyway)

Forgot to mention: I don't like the August 07 rotation so I will be doing the April 05 rotation. I will post my revisions to it on the next post.

Wed: Gym Style Legs (standing work only), plus Coremax (Segment One)

Fri: GS Legs (only floorwork exercises) plus Pyramid Lower Body (only floorwork exercises), plus Coremax (Segment Two), plus Stretchmax (Segment Two)

Sat: OFF (or Stretchmax (Segment 3))

Sun: Lowmax or HIIT



WEEK TWO:

Mon: Gym Style(GS) Back, Shoulders, Biceps

Tues: Kick, Punch, Crunch in its entirety

Wed: Gym Style Legs (standing work only), plus Coremax (Segment Two)

Thurs: GS/Chest and Triceps

Fri: GS Legs (only floorwork exercises) plus Pyramid Lower Body (only floorwork exercises), plus Coremax (Segment Three), plus Stretchmax (Segment Two)

Sat: Stretchmax (Segment 3)

Sun: HIIT and KM punch/kick combos


WEEK THREE:

Mon: Gym Style(GS) Back, Shoulders, Biceps

Tues: Gauntlet cardio only plus Stretchmax (Segment One)

Wed: Gym Style Legs (standing work only), plus Coremax (Segment One)

Thurs: GS/Chest and Triceps

Fri: GS Legs (only floorwork exercises) plus Pyramid Lower Body (only floorwork exercises), plus Coremax (Segment Two), plus Stretchmax (Segment Two)

Sat: OFF (or Stretchmax (Segment 3))

Sun: Cardio Kicks




WEEK FOUR:

Mon: Gym Style(GS) Back, Shoulders, Biceps

Tues: IMAX 1 plus Stretchmax (Segment of choice)

Wed: Gym Style Legs (standing work only), plus Coremax (Segment of choice)

Thurs: GS/Chest and Triceps

Okay, thats it:) I will be doing this. I am going to try and do 4 weeks of GS, although I like the idea of alternating PS, I want to follow it as Cathe had written, since I usually do well with her rotations.

* * week 3 instead of Imax 2, I am doing Gauntlet cardio only: Imax 2 cardio and boot camp cardio from that workout.

Of course this is after the recovery week (looking forward to core synergistics)

Good Afternoon Ladies!

I am still planning on doing Core Max and Baron Baptiste yoga.:) It is tough for me (mentally) to workout later in the day.

Tracee--I didn't realize you are not a fan of the cardio. Hopefully next time you'll be in the mood.

Deanie--I did the abs section of LL, so now I'll have 30 min. of ab work. Oh well. My older son always played fall baseball. Baseball was his 1st love (never could get enough) followed by basketball and then tennis. I went up to school today to start working on my room alreadyx( and found out that 2 teachers quit to work fulltime. I think it is a little unnerving for the director to be looking for new staff at the the beginning of the year!
Thanks for clearing up my confusion. DH and I are going to his 30 year HS reunion this weekend, so I may have to take Sat. as rest day and do entire SJP Sun aft.

We are going to know the GS series by heart after this next rotation.;-) I wasn't real interested in Cathe's August 07 rotation.

My 20 yo has really become a workout fanatic. He has a protein shake after every workout, but before he works out he drinks something called N.O.-XPLODE that he bought at the health food store. It has B vitamins and other minerals in it, you mix with water and wait 30 min. to exercise. Supposed to give you more energy. Ever heard of it? I may try it.
