Good Morning Girls :)

Today was GS C&T warm up and push ups, LIC upper body sculpt X2, and LIC abs. It was a tough workout (I seem to be saying that alot lately:) I must be in need of the recovery week!LOL) I had to drop to my knees on the second round, second set of LIC pushups with my left hand on the step!! I am upset about that, but the round before with my right hand on the step, I was shakin'! I actually did 4 pushups and then had to drop to my knees!!!!:( On the plus side, I am looking forward to Imax 3 tomorrow!

Running late, off to do errands and clean for the cleaning lady!

Good morning everyone.

This morning I changed things and did BM2 upper body. It was supposed to be the same as Deanie but I had already done LIC upper body this week so I didn't want to do it again. I have to say that I've been feeling weak with this rotation so I'm hoping that a rest week will cure that.

Deanie - I think you should be happy with yourself because that was a lot of push ups in that workout. Both in C&T and LIC. I don't think I could have done it.

Gin/Deanie - I agree with you guys in not liking Cathe's August rotation so I'll be doing the April '05 one. I'll stick with GS unless I get sick of it and then sub with PS. GS is one of my favorites though so I should be able to do 3 weeks of it and 1 week of PS.

Good Afternoon Ladies!

Today was same as Deanie for me (GS C&T p/u, and LIC upper body 2x and LIC abs).

Deanie--I also had to drop to my knees with the LIC p/u with one hand on the step. And even on my knees I was shaking!x( I was really happy though to be able to do all of those push ups prior to that. How many? It had to have been over 100!}( All thanks to you with the faux p90x rotation.

Tracee--Glad you had a good workout. It really has not been as hot in TX as it usually is in the summer. We have had rain every day and in the low 90's.

Marcy--Hope you are enjoying your vacation.

Cheryl--I saw your post from late the Tuesday night. What Cathe dvds do you have that you could sub for GS doing the next rotation with us?

Thanx guys, you made me feel better about the pushups:)

Gin~ Way to go on all the pushups!!! That is great! I remember when you did most on your knees!!:7 :7 Now you make me want to go back and count all the pushups!!:) I know there are 72 in GS. (Which ironically were easy for me!) But then in LIC there were tricep pushups and neg pushups, and the ones on the step with one hand. Forgot to mention, one of the asst. in our nursery school left this summer also. So the director is looking to hire someone. It is for the other 4 year old class.

Forgot to mention, I like the new info on the blog. I wonder if the new dvds may be ready by Sept?!!

Good Afternoon!

I was actually the first to post this morning but DH needed to check his e-mail so I never got to finish my post. I finally got my car back today. Yesterday we got to ride in a Chevy Suburban which was really nice but we could never afford to put the gas in that thing. It only got 10 mpg! We also saw Chuck & Larry today. It was really funny. I did my workout last night and was too late to post.

I did Core Max 2 (which I found pretty easy) and Butts & Guts which I haven't done in a while. B&G felt really good. I did everything except the bbl squats. I really like the deadlifts with my feet on the dumbbells. I really felt it in my glutes and core and was able to keep the bbl really close to my legs. This workout went pretty fast for me and the floorwork wasn't as bad as it used to be for me.

I agree with all of you. I don't care for Cathe's August rotation so I'll be going along with the rest of you with GS & PS but won't be doing the extra 20 mins. runs. For rest week, I'll be doing the following but don't know yet what order:

Yoga 2x - I've been enjoying Shiva Rea's Fluid Power but I haven't tried Yoga Shakti yet so I think I'll have to try that and for my second one either Baron's Next Challenge or Swenson's 2nd Series.

I'll also be doing Tracy Staehle's Core Strength & Conditioning and possibly her Sweatfest. I'll do a kickbox (don't know which one yet) and will finally try my Dancing With the Stars. Gin, I keep hearing that the jive is the best one on this.

Deanie - Enjoy IMAX 3 tomorrow. I know I did. I also really like all the info regarding the premixes on the new DVDs. It will be really helpful to know what weights she uses for each premix.

Gin - I've loved all of Debbie's rotations. I've done her Circuit Mix, Advanced Endurance, her January rotation (I think it was Upper Body) and this last one. I always feel really good after doing one of her rotations. I've been dying to do a one body part a day but haven't gotten around to it yet so maybe after next month I might try it.

Tracee - I'm also glad you'll be able to do the next rotation with us. I guess Texas' hot weather came to NY because it's going to be in the 90s for the next week.

Cheryl - Hope you can join us for the next rotation. Let us know if we can help you if you need to sub although I'm sure you could sub your P90X workouts if you have a problem.

Sorry for the long post. It's hard to catch up even being away for a day!
