Cathlete
Good Morning :)

Today was CK. Love this workout. I always feel it all over, abs, arms, legs! I hope the new kickbox workout is going to be like CK, and not KM.

Not much going on today, looks like rain, so no pool. The kids are waiting to see Ratattioue (movie, I know I spelled it wrong) Of course it opens tomorrow, don't know what we are going to do all day today.

Marcy~ Which yoga did you do? And which Get ready for summer rotation did you pick? I like the older one, with subbing the new circuits in~ thats what I will be doing.

Tracee~ I hope all is well with your sons recovery.

Gin~ Where are you going this weekend? You travel so much, its nice! To get back to your ipod question, yes, I think DH would like to use it for running. I will be using it on the treadmill.

Have a great day!
BBL,

Good Morning!

Today I pulled out Yoga X. Since I was nearing the end of the rotation, I felt like I should do it a couple more times. I had a good practice and was able to hold the poses well. Sometimes I think Tony holds them too long. The standing poses are at least 45 minutes if not a little more with the balancing poses and it feels so good when we finally get down to the floor.

Deanie - I merged the two together and here is what I came up with:

Week 1:
Mon - PP Upper Body 3 sets premix; C&W abs
Tues - Step Sweatfest (Tracey Staehle) (have to try some of my new ones)
Wed - Legs & Glutes; PS Back & Bi Abs
Thurs - MM Upper Body Premix; MM Abs
Fri - Rhythmic Step
Sat - HS Challenge
Sun - Rest/yoga

Week 2:
Mon - BM2 Double Upper Body Premix (includes abs)
Tues - Cardio Camp (Kimberly Spreen)
Wed - MM Lower Body Premix; floor work from GS Legs
Thurs - Super Sets Upper Body Blast; ME Abs
Fri - High Intensity Step Mix (Tracey Staehle)
Sat - SJP
Sun - Rest/yoga

Week 3:

Mon - PUB
Tues - IMAX 2
Wed - GS Legs to calf work; PLB stability ball portion; Core Max #1
Thurs - ME Upper Body Split premix; BC Upper Body premix; BC Abs
Fri - Kick It (CIA Video - I think Sherry Jacquelyn is the instructor)
Sat - HSTA
Sun - Yoga/rest

Week 4

Mon - MIS Upper Body; MIS Abs
Tues - IMAX 3
Wed - B&G Premix (haven't decided which one yet); Core Max #2
Thurs - GS Chest pushups; LIC Upper Body Sculpt 2X; LIC Abs or PH abs
Fri - KPC
Sat - C&W
Sun - Rest/Yoga

Gin - Just wondering, have you been watching So You Think You Can Dance? I love this show. If you are, Danny and Anya are my favorites. Hope you have a nice trip this weekend wherever you're going.

Tracee - Hope you have a great workout and that your DS is doing well.

Marcy

Good Morning Ladies!

I started my workout late this morning! I did HSC and was challenging for me!:p I think I say that everyday. I guess they all are!
I talked to my mother yesterday and she had trouble talking to me, so it was a short conversation, but I just wanted her to know I was thinking about her. My dad said the dr. think she has pleurisy, which affects your lungs and makes it very painful to breathe. I think they have to find out the cause before they know how to treat it.

Marcy--I will definitely let you know something when I hear about the basement bid. We are just trying to mop up all of the water in there now!x( I have not watched So You Think You Can Dance. I saw the Next Food Network Star on the food network and thought that was fun to watch. Love those reality shows.

Deanie--I will probably do the next rotation as is. Hope it is not too far off from what you are planning. Whenever I hear the name of that new Rat. movie(don't know how to spell it!) I think of Core Syn. where Tony talks about it when they are stirring the pot. Sorry you are gettng rain, too. We have had so much rain, it is flooding in some areas. We are going to visit my DH's father and his wife Sat and Sun. They just live 2 hours away.

Tracee--Where are you? We miss you.

Gin

Hi guys. Sorry I haven't been on in a little while. I did do PUB yesterday although I rushed through it and did mainly the up part and not the down part. Today was a typical Thursday and I couldn't get up. I guess that's just my day where I hit a wall with the lack of sleep.

I stayed home yesterday with one ds and my dd. I didn't have daycare for my dd and my ds wasn't able to go to his daycare because they were going to a zoo and that was going to be too much walking for him right now. Anyway, it rained all day so we didn't do anything exciting. I did laundry and we watched a lot of tv. :-(

I've been trying to catch up with your conversations but I'm sure I'll miss something that was talked about.

Gin - sorry to hear about your mom's health scares. I hope everything turns out ok. I wouldn't like being far away during times like this either. I hope your basement is cleaned up now after all the rain too. That is never a fun thing to go through.

Marcy - I'll be sending you my e-mail address too when you have those pictures ready. I would love to see your results because you've worked so hard. Good job.

Deanie - My goal is to have a summer to spend at a pool one of these years. Hopefully I can manage it before my kids are too much older.

I haven't looked at either rotation too closely yet. I'll follow whatever you guys decide and of course modify it to fit my needs. I really do try to follow the rotations the best that I can but things just always seem to mess me up.

Okay, I think I'm all caught up. Except to say that my ds is still not feeling that great although he does have more energy. His throat is still really sore and he's still taking the pain medication when he needs it. He has improved though so that's a good thing.

Have a good rest of the day.

Tracee

Good Afternoon!

Gin~ I'm so sorry about your mom. I hope she will be getting better soon! I'm sure your phone call made her feel better!:) Your basement flooding sounds like a nightmare! I can only imagine. Thank goodness you don't have drywall and carpet downthere! (always try to stay positive!) I am doing the original Get ready for summer rotation. Is that what you are doing?

Marcy~ I like the way you have combined the 2 and added your new dvds:) Since this rotation is endurance I want to do a strenth rotation next, and asked Cathe for one for July, maybe we can do it in Aug. (I know, thinking ahead again!)

Tracee~ I'm glad your son is improving, sorry it seems to be so slow! Don't feel bad about what you've missed working out. Maybe you should just plan on working out 5 days a week, so you donn't feel bad. Like I always say, something is better than nothing! As I wrote above, I will be doing the original get ready for summer rotation with the exception of subbing the circuits for the week with the newest circuits(DM,LIC,BM2bootcamp), keeping HSTA. (hope that makes sense)

Deanie

Hi everyone!

Tracee - Nice to hear from you again. Glad your son is improving. Sorry he is still in pain. Don't feel bad about working out only 5 days. That's mostly what I do and I just try and stick in a 6th whenever I can and I still get good results. Like Tony says "do your best and forget the rest".

Deanie - I'll definitely want another strength rotation after next month. FitnessFreak had a one body part a day alternating the Pyramids with PS but I don't know if I want to do Pyramids all that much since I'm not that crazy about them. Maybe altnerating PS with Gym Styles or S&H. I'll wait and see what Cathe comes up with and then decide. I can't wait for the 4 day split. They sound like exactly what I need.

Gin - Hope your basement drys up soon. You need to get working on that new workout room.:)

Mary

Marcy~ I have a GS/S&H combined one body part a day rotation that I like, I've done before, but I wanted to see what, if, Cathe comes up with. I also was thinking of doing:

week 1+3
GS one body part a day (doing 8-10reps instead of what Cathe does) and cardio

weeks 2+4
S&H one body part a day and cardio

there are so many variations it is hard to choose! I do know I definately want to do one body part a day, whichever series.

Good Afternoon Ladies!

I have probably missed you all. I treated myself to a pedicure and manicure and picked out the prettiest color for my fingers. If you like pale colors, its called "I am young" (OPI).
Just talked to my dad and my mother is feeling a little better. I told him to promise and tell me if he wants me to be there. She has a lung infection as well as pleurisy and aterial fibrillation.

Tracee--Glad to "see" you back. Hope your ds continues to get better. Maybe you could plan on working out 5 days a week. With as busy as you are, that would be good.

Deanie--I do try to stay positive. All that is in the basemnet is old furniture, Chritmas decorations, etc.,nothing of great value. I know that there are plenty of folks that have flooding inside their homes.

Marcy--You girls have me all confused now on what we are doing next.;-) Of course, I am easily confused.

Gin:)

Marcy is doing the rotation she posted above. I put this here so you have both to see and don't have to go back and forth. There also (jsut to confuse you again:) ) is an updated version in the rotations forum under: Get ready for summer May 07. It uses more of the newer dvds.

I am sorry to hear about your mom, but glad she is feeling better. And very jealous of the pedicure/ manicure(Can't do ped. or man. with the kids home every day)!!! And I love pale colors. I usually do bubble bath~ very pale pink~ on my nails.

Have a great evening!
