Today was supposed to be DM, which I did, but not as a circuit. I woke up really late and didn't feel like working out for 75 min!! So I did DM premix: total body. It actually had some cardio in it! And I liked the total body workout.
Off to get my(DSs) Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows!!!
Sorry not to post yesterday...time took it's own direction and decided that Friday was my day off, so I did the DM Cardio and Core Max 1 today instead of yesterday!
My mom is home from the hospital and very sore. The way she moves and the pain seems very similar to that of a c-section. They did some additional procedures to her and she is very sore, as they cut into her lower ab (ouch!).
We are all on schedule to bring meals to her, so my dad doesn't starve...he thinks he's a cook, unfortunately, he is about as good in the kitchen as my 2-year-old niece...without my mom to guide him, he's lost
Hope all your workouts went well yesterday (I have yet to read them). I look forward to hearing about today's!
Hey Gin...how hard is that BB yoga workout? if I did it, would I still have to do additional cardio or weights the same day? Just curious!
Cheryl--It sounds as if your family is there to take care of your mom and I hope she has a speedy recovery from her surgery.
I don't think I have ever done the DM just cardio. That sounds like a tough workout.
If you are refering to the BB yoga dvd I did today, it is just 27 min. long. Yoga is not what I would call"hard", but the instructors I have had say if you are doing the poses as well as you can and correctly you will get 100% of the benefits, even though you may see someone else next to you who is much more flexible. I don't normally do yoga by itself, unless it is a rest day. I think it is good to develop balance, strength and flexibility, but the yoga I do does not raise my heartrate. I like this one because it is short and he does a couple of poses that are good for runners. Poses that help open the hips that can become tight and cause injury with a repetitive motion like running.
Hope that this answered your question.
