Good Morning Girls :)

Today was HSC. Wow! Its been a long time since we did a circuit and boy was I drenched! I enjoyed it. I used the same weights as Cathe. The abs were a great workout, I should remember them, to tack them on sometimes.

Another rainy day.... it looks like the movies for us.

Gin~ I posted the rotation I am doing, with the substitutions I'm doing, at the end of yesterdays thread. Have a great weekend!

Marcy~ enjoy your last day of legs and back:)

Hi Girls!

As Deanie said, it was my last day of Legs & Back (and also Ab Ripper X but of course will have to do that tonight as I had trouble getting up again). I really liked this workout, not too hard, but not too easy and I liked mixing in the pullups and chinups. I did three more full chinups today. Never got to do a full pullup with this rotation but came awfully close with the close grip pullups. Wide pullups were the hardest for me. I'm sure I'll be able to do one the next time I do the X.

Gin - Glad you're Mom's feeling better. I'm hoping to get a manicure tonight. Last week I got French but I'll look for the color you suggested. I like pale colors.

Deanie - I really like HSC abs. They're a little different and not too long.

Tracee - Hope you had a good workout and that your DS is getting better.

Good Afternoon Ladies!

The UPS man just delivered Stretch Max that I ordered with my the pre-order. Is it a bad sign when the UPS man knows your name and your dog's name too?:7
I slept late again and was going to run, but ran out of time. Maybe in a couple of hours. I had a funeral service to go to.

Deanie--I did see your post from yesterday. Thank you. that is the same rotation that I had printed. One thing that I like about it, is it uses a wide variety of workouts.(Since I now have a bigger collection) HSC seems to move so quickly, I guess to keep your HR up. Speaking of HR, I got my new HRM in the mail yesterday. I am ready to use it. Did you take your kids to Ratatouille? It is finally not raining here and the basement is finally dry.:)

Marcy--Yeah for the chinups! You have done so well with the x! Hope you can get your manicure. I used to do my own nails all of the time, but when I started teaching pre-school, what is the use? My hands are always in glue, paint, glitter,etc.x( I do love this new color and am going to try to find it on my own. I have wasted a lot of money buying colors that only look good in the bottle.

Hi again!

Gin - Hope you enjoy Stretch Max. The first one is my favorite. I feel the most stretched out after that one. Glad your basement is finally dry. I never got to go dancing last night because weather was kind of nasty so I hope I can fit in Kenpo this weekend. Then it's my recovery week and then I get to work out with you guys again. I still take peeks at Cathe on Fit TV every morning. I'm looking forward to the new rotation because it uses workouts I don't use very often like SS & PP and I'll use some of my new ones. Hope you enjoy your new HRM. I think I'm going to actually miss trying to do pullups and chinups so I might try and fit them in here and there just so I don't lose my momentum with them. It was quite a struggle to get there and I don't want to lose it. I'm so glad the Door Gym worked for me.

Hi guys. I've probably missed everyone since it's late on a Friday. I didn't get up again today. Thanks for trying to be motivating for me with all the encouraging words. I think I'm just going through a slump right now and working out is just taking a back seat. I don't think I'll give it up entirely because I've come this far but I've never kept on the exercise track more than a year straight so I'm a little worried that I won't stick with it. I'm rambling so I hope that made some sense. Anyway, I'm really going to try to get up tomorrow. We have to get up early anyway and drive to my son's baseball tournament. Plus, two of my kids are spending the night at their grandparents so I should be able to get to sleep early and feel rested in the morning.

I think I'm going to follow Debbie's updated summer rotation. It looked like there would be only 4 days on that one where I would have to substitute for workouts I don't own.

Deanie - What movie did you see?

Gin - I'm glad it's finally drying out for you there.

Marcy - Good job on the X. I can't believe you're actually thinking of throwing in extra chin ups and pullups. You rock!!

Hey Tracee!

Nice to hear from you again. Don't give up! Whatever you do is more than not doing anything. Hopefully, you'll have better luck this time around. Hope you get some extra sleep. It does wonders. It'll be nice to do all the same workouts as all of you again. I'm going to try and take pictures next Sunday. I have to go out and buy a measuring tape since my DH's tape measure disappeared. I haven't been good with my eating but since I gained a couple of pounds, my body fat is lower again so I'm happy about that. I'm looking forward to doing more cardio again but if it proves to be too much for me, I will switch a cardio day for some yoga.
