DDP Yoga... anyone tried it?

I've seen the ad, and the guys amazing results, but didn't bite. It looks interesting, so let us know what you think, if you happen to go for it.

Yeah... I didn't want to invest until I heard from someone who had tried it.... I've heard him interviewed on a few podcasts.... I'm just looking for another good yoga that is flow or power that is about an hour long.... I have Bob Harpers, Jeanette Jenkins (WHICH I LOVE) and Cross-Train Yoga (WHICH I LOVE).....

This one is on my list of *off the beaten path* workouts, but...seeing how the score is yoga 5, me 0, I shall not invest in even one more moment of yoga. Except that stretch from Turbofire which is sort of like yoga but not really, I can do that. lol.

It's a someday kinda of thing. I guess.

5 1/2 months it took, for it to take, anything like that ever happen to you? I had to completely give up yoga, in order to take it back up again. Finally took. Yoga 5, me 1. Oh happy day. DH is sort of sick of the yoga though, oh well.

Has anyone bought this or tried it? http://ddpyoga.com/
My husband LOVES it.

He does DDP a few times per week and runs 2-3x per week. He is now in the best shape of his life at 48. I have done it with him several times but I was missing my Cathe or Kelly Coffey Meyer workouts. So he does his yoga in the den and I do my DVDs in my workout room.

I had it recommended to me (by a friend of one of the test group guys or trainers) but I never followed through but the results looked good. Would really be interested in hearing some reviews. I may put it back on my wish list at some point.

This reminds me that i need to get back around to this system. i like it and it can really get the HR up, however, it does require a lot of concentration.....in that you isometrically squeeze all of your muscles while holding the yoga poses and this is, in fact, what jacks the heart rate up.....i was amazed how this worked. Makes it a bit better than regular yoga in my opinion as i love that you burn calories, build strength and stretch.

DDP Yoga was just not a fit for me. I'm 'naturally tense enough' :rolleyes:and don't need any more of that. I push hard already with my favorite Cathe heavy strength training and HiiT/PlYo workouts. I sold my set and looked for yoga with emphasis on stretching and relaxing :)

I have been doing DDP Yoga for over a month now just once a week and love it. It is the first yoga I have been able to stick with. I do not do the isometric holds and squeezes. I just focus on getting into the pose and feeling a stretch.
