So what do you gals think? Should I pick up Pure Strength while it's on sale or not?

I must say girls that I feel like GOLD this morning compared to how I felt the morning after my FIRST insanity work out! My back is not sore and my legs/calves are only slightly sore. WOOH! :D

I talked to my mom and I am meeting up with her later then I thought this morning so that means I have time for a work out! Since I am not technically due for a rest day and since I'm not hobbling around, I am taking the opportunity! It's a cardio only day. I would normally run but I took today off of work today so I don't want to show up at the gym. I'll feel funny, like they will be thinking "well if she has time to exercise then she should be working." I'm such a worry wart and I shouldn't care cause I need to leave for mom's long before my shift would be over but.....:rolleyes: So anyway, I'll probably go for a Turbo Jam at home instead. FUN!:)

Weight is up a bit again this morning. Cals were high y'day-not crazy but definitely higher then they've been! I guess the double work out made me hungrier. I did eat healthy but cals in cals out, right? Actually though, I track my sodium and it was high so that could actually be all it is. Today isn't gonna be a good eating day as far as healthy food goes but if I can control my portions I should be okay and be back on track in no time!

Man, I'm chatty in the morning! It must be the coffee! :p

Jacque:: LOL-I wasn't trying to hide my interest in Insanity. I have openly admitted that I've been sucked in. :D I'm not sure I can hack a full Insanity rotation as it's designed but I'm definitely up for a weekly beating or 2 along with my other work outs! ;) Thanks re the pic. Yeah, they are very small with no option to make 'em bigger. So small that it's kinda silly you know? The pic is also my profile pic on FB. I took it with my self-timer camera y'day morning. I figure...heck, I work hard for it so why not show it off once in a while right? LOL My camera is all charged up! I'll be taking it to the zoo today but then it's going in my bag and heading up to CT with me for sure so you girls will get to us crazy alcoholics in action! :p

Off to grab more coffee but I should BBL before heading out for the day!
 
My work out is done! But I changed my mind...hey! I'm a woman so I'm allowed! :p

I did SWAT extreme weight loss & fat burning. It's mostly cardio with some light or no weight strength moves thrown in there.

Dang and I was gonna be happy that tomorrow was Friday ! You sure got me Wendy - payback for last week I guess ! :p

Well happily I am down 1 lb since the other day so all is good ! Hope it stay. I tend to get lax once I start losing so this time need to keep it up. Lowered the cals y'day by about 400, think I'll start staggering depending on the previous day's deficit. So today I get to eat more ! :eek: Ended up with just over 10K and just above 800 again during work hours. Today will probably be my last day wearing GWF to work and then I'll just estimate a bit low.

Workout for today is ME - will need to add a or jog somewhere in there or I'll be low on the cal burn again.

Wendy - good for you getting a workout in - I'm sure the sodium did it - take a couple gallons of water to the zoo with you ! :p The walking should help too.

Lori - well, sure, go ahead and pick the phone over the computer ! LOL ! Can't wait to hear the results of your jewelry party last night.

Diana - what chores and workout on tap for you today? And how did all the cleaning do for your calorie burn?

Laura - you back yet?

Jen - get lots accomplished y'day?

The boss is in court for a little while, so I’m taking this chance to catch up with you girls and avoid the remaining files on my desk. So. Sick. Of Looking. At Them :confused:

Wendy: You made my day when I thought it was Thursday :D! That was followed by brief panic :eek:, a quick look at my calendar, and relief that I still have two more days to finish this crap :). Then disappointment at the realization that we still have three more days:(. I’ve recovered now though, and am thrilled it’s so close:D:cool::)! Sadly, I don’t have a camera of my own, but I may be able to get my hands on one. Worst case scenario, though....I’ve got my phone. So aren’t you a hot little mama in your new avatar!! ;) I love it! Absolutely, hard work should get shown off. When do you plan on taking the Insanity plunge? I’m still on the fence, and I’ll wait for your glowing review to push me off. No, I don’t have a FB page...yet. The kids and I were just talking about that, and they’re insisting I get one, so I’m sure I’ll have one soon. Thanks for the info on the macros the other day.

Jacque: Well, my sleepaholism served me well for a few days, but I’m back to being insomniac Jen as is usual during the week. Great job outstepping me the other day! I’ll allow it, I guess;). You’ve had some great calorie burns, too! Are you still enjoying the GWF? How did the step workout yesterday measure up?

Diana: Sounds like your vacation week is a lot of work! Good for you though. It’s such a relief to get organized and have everything neat. Sometimes that rejuvenates me better than a week at the beach:rolleyes:. I’m so glad to hear you’re loving the GWF. I agree that it is an addiction. It’s also a huge motivator for me, and I have to admit that my house is kept quite a bit cleaner these days.

Laura: Did you check in from the Keys just to make us all jealous?? JK! Hope you’re having a blast!

Lori: How’d the jewelry party go? Did you get some nice hostess gifts? Great job on the running. You’re mileage always amazes me.

My workout this morning was Cool It Off, which was an hour long stretching/recovery workout. It felt really good, too, especially considering that I NEVER stretch. I always skip it. So this felt like a good massage to me. I tried running a bit before hand, but my body just kind of refused:rolleyes:. Will likely get a walk in at lunch if the weather provides, and another tonight with the dog. Gotta keep that step count up!

Ok, back to work for a while, but I’ll be back for the mental break.

Hi Ladies,

Wendy had me scared for a second...DH has to work on Thursday and we are cleaning the carpets today! We are getting an early start and moving the furniture etc onto the back patio. With the high temps we are having the carpet should dry fairly quickly.

The house is starting to look so much better. It's nice to get the junk/clutter outta here.

The rotation calls for 4DS bootcamp in its entirety. I'm not sure if or when I will get to that. I should have time but it won't be until later this afternoon.

Wendy-Sorry you don't feel comfortable going to the gym on your day off but I completely understand. Nice job getting that workout done. Now you can enjoy the rest of the day with your mom. Your taking Joey to the zoo, right? We don't have dining room which is fine by me, we are not formal anyway. I do have a big eat in kitchen and I love it. I thought the water table would be too high where you are for a basement. I love mine and you would too.

Jacque-I've only had a couple comments on the GWF at work. I've noticed that some of my short sleeve shirts cover it and some are too short. This heavy duty cleaning has been a long time coming. I'm sure you've had to do some cleaning/rearranging as your kids moved out. I'm pretty excited to get the computer out of the front living room and to have an "office". DH nixed moving the bedrooms (was in a bad mood)... This way though we'll have room to put a futon in the office for company.

Lori-Hi missy, are you working today?? What are you up to?

Laura-Are you back from the keys?? Can't wait to see your pics.

Time for me to get busy before DH gets mad at me.

Jen - Wendy got a couple of us this AM, huh? I shoulda known better but was still asleepin' :rolleyes: Well nice to hear you're getting a little break from the piles - hope they get cleared up soon. Nice job on the workout - I know the feeling where the legs just don't want to run - sometimes if I stick it out it goes away, lately it hasn't been. :confused: Oh well - each day is a new day . . .

Can't wait for the pics of you guys - sounds like Wendy wants to hit every bar within miles? :p You can keep up though, right? I am definitely becoming an addict where GWF is concerned. It is useful info and hopefully it gets put to good use ! :rolleyes: It has been a week for me and tonight I'll probably download the week's info, add in my eats and see how close it is to my 1 lb weight loss. You are right that just being up and moving helps lots. I don't remember now what last night's workout burn was but it was close to what I'd expect - maybe about 350 or so? Thanks for the congrats !

Diana - LOL that Wendy got you too ! Sure wakes you up quickly in the AM, huh? kKckin some good Cleanin' bootie these days. Great job ! Is it helping your cal burn, especially since you are getting your workouts in also? So think you'll change the bedrooms when DH goes back to work? or do you need to wait? Yes I waited a year and then switched DD's room into my workout room. DS1 still needs to be fixed up a bit as a guest room/Hot Wheels display area. It is pretty cleaned out - need to paint, get new blinds, baseboards, etc. I'd love to put the computer in there so I could actually sleep in my bedroom but not sure DH will go for that. How nice to have the extra space in our bedroom too ! We'll see . . . :rolleyes: O, and move the gun safe which takes up half a wall too ! ! ! Ah the challenges of decorating when you have input for the DH. Hope you got lots more accomplished !

Off to eat and head back to work. Later ladies ~
