:)Good Morning!

I was the last one to check in last night so not a whole lot to say. I don't know what I had a dream about so I can't talk about that:p


DD came into the room in the wee hours to tell me she wasn't feeling well. I was thinking it was almost time to get ready for school and I said "o.k, go back to bed then" She said, "I can't get to sleep, do we have anything here" It was only 4 o'clock! LOL Poor girl came in cause she needed me and I was shooing her back to bed! Got up and got her something and I went right back to sleep. She as a sore throat....no fever though....thats what I am watching out for. They are doing vaccinations in school this week and if she is sick, she can't have her's. Hoping she will be better by then.

Back to work for me today and DS is off to the sitters, Im sure he will be cool with that. Maybe he has had enough of me this week so far.

I will bbl to report my workout. I think it will be a run outside. B/c of the time change the sun is up already and it looks like a nice morning out there!

Good Morning Girls.

Man, I slept wrong the other night and now my neck/shoulder on my right side are KILLING me! It hurts during the day bad enough but at night I end up sleeping in a position that makes it worse so when I go to change positions it about makes me cry! :( I think I may need to ask for a massage!!!! ;):D

Today's work out is Max Cardio Conditioning (YAY the EASY one of the group! ;)) and Cardio Abs. I have 9 more days of Insanity left in the rotation. It would be less except for the fact that I am going to make up the 3 days I missed when I went to AC a few weeks ago. It'll be perfect though cause I'll finish before next weekend and can start something new on Monday! The problem is deciding WHAT to do next! :confused:

Lori:: I didn't care what time it was. LOL I got 5 hours of sleep and that is just not good for me. I got up at 5 so taking a nap at 9 isn't all that early. :p I don't think I would have made it through the day if I didn't take one. I was still in bed by 9:30 last night and probably could have gone sooner! I slept until 5am and considered pushing it til 6! Sorry your DD is getting sick. It's going around everywhere apparently. Cathe even posted the other day that her 2 boys were sick and I have a friend who's 2 kids are sick as well!

Coffee cup is on "E". Gotta go refill it!

Hey Girls!

I am at work and beleive it or not...I have work to do today;) I am going to run to the store at lunch time and pick up some stuff I need to make supper. I think we will have homemade pizza tonight.

My dress is on the vechile for delivery! Yippeee! Stay tuned...it may end up being a hit OR just hanging in the closet :confused: Prehaps I will try sending it back if its no good.

My run ended up being 11.5 kms and I burned 691 cals. On the way to work I was famished though so I had two chocolate covered jube jubes and then when I got here I had a bagel with butter:eek: There goes my workout! hehe! I think I was so hungry b/c I worked out late last night and early again today. Gonna try and hit the sack early tonight.

Wendy** I love little cat naps so I get it...I just thought it was funny cause it was early. I use to love taking naps before I had DS. When DD would go back to school in the afternoon (in the winter time) I would always have a nap! I probably told you that already. Seems like everyone is struggling with the same problem...what rotation to do next???

I should do some work I suppose! The day should zoom by if I do all of the things that need to get done. Im feeling kinda lazy though!

Hey there girlies.

Just popping in again real quick before I hit the work out for today. Wednesdays have been my rest day the past few weeks but I am going out for dinner/drinks after work tonight so I want to make a pre-emptive strike against those extra calories! ;)

I am thinking that for my next rotation I might mix up the X weight work with BBC, CLX and Insanity cardio! Not quite sure how I'll set it up yet. I'll work on that soon. Of course I might change my mind before I even get that far so we'll see! LOL

Hiya girlies!

I only have time for a "fly by" right now but I'm hoping to get back here later for personals! Just wanted to say "HEY!" and tell you all I'm here reading, just haven't had time for posting the past couple days. I'm prepping for meetings on Friday and we're apparently getting ready for an audit around here, so things are abuzz. Pretty sure that next week will bring a more leisurely pace for me though.

So I've been keeping up with Insanity. My cold made me miss a few workouts last week, so I made up MIC on Monday, but blew off MR and CC&B from last weeks schedule. This week I'm on track with MIP yesterday and MCC this morning. Sweatfests with both of them :D Still *hearting* Shaun very much ;) Not sure what's up after the rotation is done, but I don't really think I'm ready to "give him up" yet.

Work beckons, but I should be able to bbl~

Hi ladies,

I'm strugglin' to wake up this morning. Feeling a bit groggy but am on my 2nd cup of coffee. I too have MCC tody and am glad its the easier w/o of the M2.

One of the girls in my spin class works in the same business park as me. We are going for a short run together on Friday at lunch. It will be nice to have someone to run with again. I'm not sure how much she runs but think we will be okay running together.

Wendy-sorry about your neck/back pain. You mentioned BBC, maybe a week or 2 of that would be good. I'm going to think about that.

Lori-homemade pizza sounds delicious. Hope DD feels better soon. I have shopping to do at lunch also. Not really looking forward to it, but Costco is near my work so that will my errand today. Have a little faith will yah, the dress will probably fit.

Hey Jen! Good to see you again!

I'm not giving Shaun up completely after the rotation is over either as you can see from my thoughts for my next rotation. I am dying to go back and do the month 1 work outs again to see how they feel. They SHOULD feel easier by now!!!!! :D
 
Hi ya girls !

Well the doctor's took nearly all morning but I had xrays done and (as I had heard many years ago) I have bone spurs and muscle issues in my neck which is shooting down my arm. Not quite sure why it happens mainly at night though? Got some pain pills (side effect from a seizure medication is to calm nerves?) and some muscle relaxants which help with sleeping. Yep - they worked last night ! Then need to take naproxen also for the inflamation. Have physical therapy 2 - 3 times per week for 4 weeks and we'll see how it goes. I sooooo hate this stuff ! Don't like taking pills and don't want to have issues ! :mad:

Didn't feel like visiting with Shaun last night (was afraid the jumping around and down for push ups wouldn't be good) so did Jackies 1 on 1 UB and LB. Sweatfest and I'm feeling a little sore already. Yipppee ! Will probably do Shaun tonight and just be careful. Not sure where I am so will probably do plyo since I haven't done that one for a while.

Laura – way to go on the workout the other night with a sore knee. FREEZE IT, huh? Haven’t heard of that one – how deep does it numb you? Sorry about your customer from h3ll ! :eek: On your next rotation with all those workouts, how do you plan it out ? Or do you just pick something at random on a daily basis?

Roselyn – I think most of us will use Insanity for cardio a few days and then mix weight work in the other 3 days. Insanity is a great HIIT which is good at least a couple times per week.

Wendy – I am on a roll (again . . . :rolleyes: ) and worked out Sun. thru Tues so far ! :p Actually I am still eating as much as I usually do – am typically not really hungry – just a few meals per day and a snack or two sometimes depending on what I ate for meals. STS did make me hungry though, I remember. Well I know exactly how you feel with the neck and right side issues ! :confused: I have looked at a couple rotations myself and am trying to decide if I want to do STS during this holiday/hockey time cuz I end up missing so many workouts. Seems when I did STS I'd skip my cardio and that is not what I need. We'll see . . .

Lori – with all the running you do I’m thinking a missed day of a cardio DVD will not hurt you in the slightest. At least you got your weights in. Man oh man I can’t believe DS and his incidents yesterday. Poor little guy ! How old is he these days? My DGS1 runs around without looking where he is going either and has had a few goodies too ! Doesn’t seem to bother him much or keep him from running around though.

Well now DD is sick for you? Hope she gets to feeling better later. Did you get your run in? That will surely make up for yesterday with the miles you run. Yummy, homemade pizza sounds delish. Do you make the dough fresh or buy some?

Jen - so good to hear you may be slower next week finally. Yesterday was a little more casual for me too though I still have a lot to do, it is not critical at this point.

Diana - I had a great night's sleep finally (thank you meds !) and am moving slowly today also. Cool you found a running buddy and can go at lunch ! I don't have BBC - did see in on the sale rack at Kohl's once but decided against it. I was checking out the Cathe rotations and was interested in the Oct 09 (mixed up STS) and the Nov 09 (varied weights) and would then sub in Shaun for at least 2 workouts per week.

Well, unfortunately I guess I'd better get to work . . . :confused: Have a great hump day ladies !
 
Wendy** The dress came in the weird, xs,s,m,...sizes so I ordered the small. I think it will be fine cause med would have been to big and xs would have fit DD.

Jacque** Glad you have everything figured out re:your shoulder. Glad it was nothing serious. DS will be 3 in Jan and he never looks when he is running around. He is looking to see if anyone is chasing him.

Diana** Its always nice to have someone to run with. Sometimes I like listening to my Ipod but I like my running partner as well. Hope you got your workout in.

Jen** Glad to hear you are feeling better.

Hey girls

I am in another office today and it has been a crazy day agian .. DANG FULL MOON!!!!!! :mad:

I did my core matt class last night .. had a few plyo moves in it .. it has a little bit of everything .. kinda like P90X core synergy .. plyo, LB work, yoga based core work, planks, and pushups .. it was a good class .. and I am DOMING a bit into my shoulders, back and core!! Today SIL is teaching kickboxing .. so I am gonna do REVABS Interval workout today .. still trying to take it easy on the knee .. which seems a bit better today .. :).. hoping laying off the step and so much impact that it will heal w/o TOTAL rest ..

Lori - hope your daughter is feeling better .. and hope the DS is healing from his booboos!!! Great run ... no wonder you were famished w/all your workouts you put in!!!!

Wendy .. have fun w/drinks and friends tonight .. think after my day I am gonna have a few too .... I have a pot roast on in the crock pot .. bet it is gonna be smelling fine when I get home // plus DH is home and we might have an impromptu "date night" ;)

Jen .. your work has been insane too huh??? glad you are still *hearting* Sean .. I have been seeing him on a hit and miss basis lately .. and now my knee is acting up so may be more miss than hit :(

Di .. I slept like a log last night .. and did NOT want to get out of bed .. I woke up with one of those "slept so hard .. and I have old skin" pillow case wrinkles across my face :eek: so I must not have moved last night .> LOL

Jacque .. yes FREEZE IT is WONDERFUL .. it goes pretty deep .. feels warm then cool .. it is really the generic brand of BIOFREEZE ..my chiro reccommended it for my shoulder when I tore it .. and it did help .. I am using it on my knee now and popping ibuprofen ... getting old is H#LL ..LOL .. jk .. better than the alternative though!!!!! think on my rotation I am going to plan it out .. then I may have to "wing it" b/c of my classes .. I wont know till I get into it and see how hard shock cardio is!

OK .. better run .. about to go to lunch .. hope you have a wonderful day .. and with this full moon hoping it is not CRAZY INSANE like mine have been!!! :D
