Damage Control with Insanity on MONDAY!

Good Morning!

Im not sure whats going on with this computer but instead of letting me use a questione mark..... I get a É. Weird huh....ooppssss...can`t ask a question! LOL

I am hoping to read this weekends threads today at some point and catch up on what I missed.

We had a great time at the wedding. We got home yesterday around 12:30 but I couldn`t get my act together long enough to check in. I wasn`t feeling 100%. I started drinking at 3 in the afternoon...maybe that wasn`t such a good idea. We called it quits at 2 a.m. A few of them stayed up till 4:30. I felt o.k when I woke up yesterday morning but during the ride back I got sick. Im thinking it was a combo of driving and being hungover. After I got home I was tired but not sick. Went to bed last night at 10:30 and slept like a baby...one that doesn`t wake up every 3 hours to eat:eek:

So of course there is no workout for me to report from yesterday. Im going to do a circuit workout with the UB work from PH today. I am looking forward to it.

Are we gonna keep using Insanity in the title if no one is following the rotation (question mark):p I was just wondering as I was typing in the title. I guess we will still be using it here and there.

O.k...gonna get my workout started. Hoping to get a good 90 mins workout in!

Getting myself geared up to bang out MIP at about 9 this morning. I'm looking forward to it in a warped sort of way! heheheh. So this will be the first of the 5 final INSANITY work outs until my rotation is officially complete! WOO HOO!

As soon as I get back from A/C I will start P90X with my own cardio. I don't think I am going to write out a rotation. I think I am going to follow the weight work format as Tony has it laid out and fill in the blanks with the cardio that I am in the mood for-trying to stay with only Insanities, CLX cardios and BBC's. Should be completely exhausting...but fun!!!! :D Even if I can stick with the X for a month I'll be happy! After that I think I will be getting sucked back into Slim Series for a bit. :p

Lori:: I was checking out the pics of the wedding on FB. OMG you Canadians sure do get out of control, huh? :eek: :D Of course that simply translates into knowing how to PARTY so it's all good! ;) Sorry about the hang over. That sucks but after drinking for so many hours I am not surprised. Not that you deserved it but.....:p

Jacque:: Yeah, something clicked and my body's been lovin' everything I do lately! It actually started when I first did SS and has continued ever since! My weight isn't steady lately due to some bad eating but I don't think it's bad enough to cause permanent weight gain. I still feel good and I look fine so I'm not gonna worry too much about it. So what rotation are you considering next? Will you ever go back and do a full Insanity rotation again? I definitely will! It worked really well for me! I am surprised though b/c that much cardio usually isn't good for me. Ah well...not complaining!!!

Workout is complete for today and I feel sooo much better. I had planned on yesterday being a rest day b/c I didn't think i would be up to it. But after eating crap all day, I kinda wanted to bang out some cardio last night but just knew I wouldn't do it justice! So I did nothing...which is fine. Anyway, all the crappy food and sleep gave me energy;):D

Wendy** Yes...we know how to par-ta!:cool: Thats why I can't keep up with these fools anymore. They were pretty tame I must say. They can get worse...myself included. I haven't had time to put up my pics yet. I will probably do that tonight after DS goes to bed.
Sounds like you have a "plan" in mind:) Im not really following a rotation right now either and I know as soon as Dec rolls around everything will go out the window anyway.

Good morning ladies !

Well I just finished the weight work for 4DS C&B - cardio will be after work. Feels good to have done something this AM - hoping it gives me some energy throughout the day which I have been missing. These meds are making me tired . . .

Lori - good to hear you had a great time and have recovered after resting yesterday. Nothing like a great long workout to feel better. So I am confused - I looked for pics last night and didn't see any . . . Wendy says she saw them . . . then you say you haven't posted them yet . . . :confused: Can't wait to see the dress ! ! !

Wendy - I am ditching the remainder of the regular Insanity rotation cuz I NEED some weights and don't seem to have the energy when doing Insanity daily. I started a 4DS rotation and will fill in some of the cardio with Insanity though. With my schedule lately (which doesn't seem like it will be letting up anytime soon) I'm going to try to do weights in the AM and cardio in the PM and see how it goes. Today is done - hope I can keep it up. I usually wake up between 4 and 5 so if I actually feel like I'm rested enough then I just need to get moving and not stay in bed ! :p:rolleyes:

Off to get ready - BB probably tonight post workout.

Shhh...don't tell anyone...but things are kinda quiet around here today!! Woohoo!

I have no workout to report today because truth be told, I got freakin' lazy this morning and didn't get out of bed. However, I did go for a five mile run late yesterday afternoon, and I'm still feeling pretty good about that. I can honestly say that my speed and endurance have dramatically improved, thank you Insanity :D:D:D

Saturday, no workout, unless you count Shopmax. OMG, did I SHOP! I got lots of new clothes for myself, and some stuff for DD including the cutest pair of UGGs at a really great price. Oh yeah, I got me a pair, too;)

Lori: I was suffering from the same hangover thingy on Saturday :eek: I was out until 1:30 Saturday morning and felt like trash for it all day. I'm gettin' too old for this crap I tell ya! Takes me three days to recover.

Wendy: Glad to hear you're sticking with the X plan. I just cannot warm up to the idea. I'm going to stick with the Insanities, but I'm going to incorporate two upper body workouts (a la Shaun T) and one lower body workout (Cathe style) a week. I don't know how long I'll stick to it, but I'm figuring I'll just do it until I'm sick of it :p But before that, I have four workouts left to complete the official rotation. It has taken me two full weeks to finish the final week :eek: but whatever is what I say about that!

Hello to everyone else! I know I have some catching up to do, but I'm not sure when I'm going to be able to do it :( However, I'll be popping in much more often for the next few days (Yay!) I'm kind of in the eye of the storm atm.

Morning girls!!

so some of us have had a hangover at some point this weekend .. LOL .. mine was SUNDAY :p Fri night date night was great .. burned some EXTRA calories ;) ... Sat watched football all day .. so started indulging a bit early .. then we got a wild hair and went to Sams club .. then to eat .. then to gamble .. SIL and DB and my aunt met us there .. we had a ball .. Ya'll my DH was playing the $1 wheel of fortune .. he got a spin .. I hit the button and he hit the $1000 slot :eek::eek::eek::eek: I started hopping aorund like an idiot .. you would have thought we hit a major jackpot :D:D:D WOW .. that was just awesome .. I was loosing up to that point and he gave me a $20 then I started winning .. so I ended up UP $180 from what I brought in :D:D but DH was THE WINNER that night .. anyway .. we didnt get home till around 2:30 or so .. and MAN did my head hurt yesterday ... I was a total BUM all day yesterday .. all I managed was some very light cleaning!!! :eek: BUT I did do MIP SAT .. and cardio recovery FRI .. so not a total bust on the exercise front!!

Lori .. so you and I partied until about the same time .. I started early too .. thank goodness I didnt get sick or feel real bad .. just that if I moved quickly my head would POUND!!! :confused: Looking forward to sweating it out today .. i will prbly smell like a big ole coors light .. LOL!!!!

Wendy .. so you are on the last week of Insanity??? I didnt make the full rotation but I am still doing it hit or miss style!! have fun w/MIP .. my hammies were sore from doing that SAT .. think w/me babying my knee .. making SURE the knee placement is just right I really let my butt and hamstrings do all the work . .

Jen . .LOL about getting too old for this crap .. that is what DH and I both said yesterday .. he felt worse than me though ... I dont see how we used to do it ..stay out .. drink .. party .. now it happens just every now and again it kills me!!!! luckily it was just a head ache for me though

Jacque .. hate the meds are making you tired .. I really need to call the dr for some supped up ibuprofen . .but it KILLS my tummy .. so I am just taking OTC pills ....

OK .. so today is REVABS at lunch - then tonight I gotta figure out what I am gonna teach instead of step .. b/c I am not doing step for at least 4 weeks .. in hopes my knee improves . ..???? tmrw will be 4 step class .. then THURS plyo/yoga ?? ahhhhhh .. I may do all weights .. ?? I AM OFF WEDNESDAY .. YAYAYAYAYAYA .. Veterans Day .. so no class WED night .. sure SIL and I will meet and do MIC .... anywho .. gotta jet.. will BBL to see what everyones up to ... OH . and my Tigers won .. but the LSU tigers lost :( our rivals are now #2 (but think they got ALL the refs in their pockets) ... have a great one!
 
Hi ladies,

I ended up lazing around yesterday and never got a w/o in. This morning I did GS C&T, a shorter w/o was needed so I could make my early apt. I'm thinking of heading out for a short run here in a few minutes. I have meltdown class tonight...so looking forward to it.

I'm basically done with Insanity, obviously I throw a few insane w/o's in but need to get back to weights. Ab ripper X is even sounding good...what's that tell yah!

Lori-sorry you weren't feeling up to snuff yesterday, but it's to be expected after a night of drinking. Your circuit sounds fun this morning. I'll have to check for your pictures tonight.

Wendy-MIP is a goody! I plan on adding the insanity w/o's to a weight rotation. I'm starting off with GS, may do a week or 2 of BBC, P90X etc. Once I get Shock Cardio I plan on doing another STS rotation.

Jacque-my body was in desperate need of weight training also. Our weather is supposed to in the 60's this week so some running may be on my agenda as well. Nice job with 4DS C&B.

Jen-I think I was the only one of us who wasn't out drinking saturday night...and I still lazed around all day Sunday. Glad you were able to score on your shopping spree. I hate when I need something I can never find it, but when shopping just because...I find all kinds of stuff.

Laura-hope you knee is better real soon. How is Rev Abs going?? Do you think I would like it?? DH sure had his game on when you gambling huh!!!

Hey Di .. I am not sure if REVABS are for you .. the first phase is REALLY begginer/intermediate .. not heavy weight workouts .. it really is a hard program to describe .. we are using it as a lunch workout .. the biggest thing for me is he does moves differently .. and the breathing is different .. so that has been the bonus for me .. I did peek at the the phase 2 .. and it looks a lot harder .. more like a mild Insanity but w/a focus more on strength and core work .. the cardio one looks fun .. and doable .. more along a kickboxing workout .. and no rests .. but for the money dont think you will like phase 1 .. just the phase 2 .. so unless you could find it like on Ebay or the disc sold seperately .. i dont think you would gain from it unless you use it like I am .. this being said I have not DONE phase 2 yet .. so it may be an arse kicker!! LOL

I forgot to tell you girls .. we have a hurricane coming straight to us :eek: .. the wind is just starting to blow here and the it looks like the first bands are on their way .. gonna be a NASTY night of it for sure ... flash flood watches are already out ... :confused: .. at least it slowed down before it got here ... thank goodness!!

DISCLAIMER:::: I ordered the INSANITY DELUXE DVD tonight. The plan for my next rotation could very well change once it is received! lol :p In fact, I am liking Jen's idea more and more...Things that make ya go hmmmmm! Want some company, Jen?? :D
