Damage Control Week of May 30th

Good Morning:)

Gonna get my workout in soon and then I am not sure what we are doing. We may go to the next town b/c DH wants to have a look at his competition or we just might stay home and do somethings that need to be done around here. I would love to paint the baseboards and some of the doors in this house. There are a few things like that that need to be done around here.

My legs are still sore from GS legs two days ago and my shoulders are nice and toasty from yesterday. I don't have much left to hit this week so I thought about either doing just cardio today or chest and back again.

Wendy** How are you feeling today??? DS loves Mcds as well. I like going when there aren't to many kids around b/c I know no one will get injured! LOL Just as we were leaving a bus full of kids pulled up...I can only imagine how crazy it got in there!

Laura** O.k...so I won't bother ordering the shorts...its to bad cause I really needed some;) Sounds like you are going to have a nice weekend regardless if DH is around much or not. I can't picture heat-pool-drinks a bad weekend!

Diana** I won't have as much time next week to workout. I am only off on Wed and Thurs and I have workouts as well. I am thinking early morning workouts for me may be put on hold soon.

LauraR** Sounds like you are having a wonderful time!

I will probably bbl today. I have a feeling we will be staying home and not doing much at all.

Good Morning.

Thankfully I am feeling much better this morning. Still not 100% but the improvment is unbelievable! Hoping for a bit more improvement over the next few hours and then I'll give some cardio a shot. Unfortunately I will not be starting M3 toay as planned :( but I am hopeful that I will be 100% and able to start it tmrw! :)

Lori:: Omg, there is soooo much that could be done around this house but DH can't get off the 6 day work week plan for more then a weekend or two at a time so nothing is getting done. :rolleyes: We wanted to put the house up for sale spring but if he's never home to get it ready to put up and then to help me with the upkeep then forget it. It's not gonna happen. :( I feel like we will NEVER get out of this crappy little town. :confused:

Hi Girls,

Workout done...abs and a nice 10.5 k run outside. I think we are just hanging out here today and I am gonna plant some flowers and stuff.

Wendy** Glad to hear you are feeling a little better. Well...my DH isn't the handiest of men and I feel bad asking my father or FIL to do things around here. We have been in this house for 5 yrs, so really it needs to be painted right through. But I am trying to pick out the most important rooms that need to be done. I would love to have my kitchen done and my room. But then that requires buying a new comforter and so on! It can get expensive.

Alright...I will probably bbl!

Lori:: I hear you. We've been in our house for about 8 years now. We've painted once and not even all of the rooms. Our bedroom and the living room going up the stairs and into that hallway hasn't been touched. Neither has the spare bedroom. We've replaced the kitchen floor, gotten a new kitchen table/chairs, replaced the kitchen sink and put up a fence and a shed outside. That's the extent of the "improvements" that have been done to our home. We need to replace the front porch b/c it is in horrible shape. I would love to replace the sidewalks in the front of the house but DH decided against it. I guess we shouldn't go nuts cause all we really want to do is sell it and get out of here but in today's market it's hard enough to sell as it is so I want to make it as appealing as possible from the outside so I can get people through the front door! I dread the day it goes up for sale. I really really do. :(:confused::eek:

Ok, I am feeling pretty tired and a little sick for some reason right now. Not sure what's up with that so I'm gonna go lay down for a bit. BBL~
 
Hi Ladies,

I did Disc 7 this morning, CSB...let me tell you it was push torture! After that I did one of the bodyrock.tv workouts. I posted it on FB. It's a 600 rep w/o but I only managed 540 reps. The side squat thrusts were really hard for me to do and my shoulders were fried, only did 15 of these in both rounds. The other one was the 3d pushups, only did 15 of these in each round too.

There's not much going on today, maybe some grocery shopping and other errands.

Lori-Nice w/o today. We need to have some work done around our house. My husband could certainly do it, but he's too lazy and doesn't do anything anymore...very annoying.

Wendy-glad you are feeling better today! At least everything in your house is working! Every time we turn around something else isnt working. The trials and tribulations of home ownership! Take care of yourself and don't lift any weights unless your neck is better.

Laura-OMG, your heat is unbelievable. Enjoy your day IN the pool!

Good Morning:)

We don't have much planned for today. I am going to workout soon and then we have DD's dance show at 2. Other then that, there are no plans. I planted flowers yesterday even though I wasn't suppose to until after the full moon of June 15th:eek: I asked a couple of girls as they were walking by. Oh well...if they die b/c of frost I will haul them out and put more in.

I have to tell you girls that the scale is freaking me out a bit already:confused: Could it be that I wasn't eating enough before? I don't understand how its going up EVERY day! I mean like a pound or more. One day I was 125, next 126.1, next 127.1 and today 127.8! I try not to freak out but I really don't think its necessary yet. This is what I ate yesterday:

Meal 1 - all bran bar (I didn't want to eat much before my run)
- orange when I came home
Meal 2- Fiber one, skim milk, cup of blueberries, 1/2 banana
Meal 3- (I picked. Some chips, couple of candy and a cookie)
Meal 4- Steak and salads.

Does that look like a menu where someone should be gaining?? SO I have decided to start a little journal of what I eat and my exercise and how I am feeling. I am hungriest around 2'ish. I try not to worry b/c I know that eventually nothing is going to appeal to me and the scale may go back down...but it is what it is.

Wendy** I love it when my house is painted b/c it feels like I have a new home:) I think I am going to have to pick out some new paint colors real soon!

Diana** I laughed when you said your DH was to lazy;):D At least your honest...LOL. Nice workout yesterday!

My workout was just 10.5 k outside again. I wore a new tank that I bought when I was away and it isn't ideal for running. I think its for biking and all it did was ride up. I don't know how many times I tugged at the stupid thing.

Time to shower and then I think I will have a bowl of oatmeal with blueberries.

Good Morning Ladies,

Today I plan on doing Disc 9-legs and KPC if I have the energy. I had forgotten how draining STS is. I may have to get heavier weights since I'm already using my 35's for chest and back work in Meso 1. I can't believe how much stronger I am.:D There's another bodyrock w/o I want to do today but am not sure when I will have energy for it. It's only a 12 minute workout focusing on abs.

Lori-now is not the time to be worrying about the scale missy. Actually it doesn't look like you are eating enough. Meal 3 needs to have more sustenance. Have you made your Dr. appt yet? Once they do an ultrasound or listen to the heartbeat you'll feel much better. As long as you are feeling good it's probably fine to continue your workouts.

Hey Ladies.

I banged out Body Training W/O #2 which is all body weight exercises on the floor for both upper and lower body + Intensity Step Only Premix this morning. I modified any movements that tweaked my neck such as the full sit ups in BT and alot of the larger arm movements in Intensity. It worked out well for me overall.

I spent the afternoon at a street fair with my mom and Joey and by the time we were heading home the BACK of my neck was hurting pretty badly (the arthritis is on the left side, go figure). I realized it was from the halter top I was wearing as well as having to carry my pocket book and a full plastic bag filled w/my eats and drinks around the fair since I wasn't partaking in the fair goodies. My neck isn't/wasn't at 100% yet so the pressure from what I was carrying coupled with the halter top putting pressure on the back of my neck killed me! :eek: When I finally got home, emptied my arms and I untied the halter and there was an immediate sense of relief! :)

Diana:: So what did you shop for today? What was for dinner? I made the honey glazed pork recipe that I posted on FB with mashed potatoes and corn on the cob. The recipe was fantastic!!!! YUM YUM! :)

Lori:: I love oatmeal but prefer it with peanutbutter instead of fruit!:p Sorry your new top isn't appropriate for running. Perhaps you can use it for weight training instead??
