Damage Control...Week of May 1st!

Diana** That is rotten about the class! Did you get the dates mixed up maybe? I make more time during the weekends for my workout. I started at 6:36 (I think) and I ended around 8:20. Then I had training at 8:45 before I even went to work. I have training tomorrow morning as well so I am trying to figure out what I should do and when b/c she wants to workout before 8. I may have to split my workout up tomorrow.

Not a whole lot happening here...just finishing supper.

Hey--we're at a hotel and I have internet!

I've been walking my rear off at Disney World this week. So, no workouts, but lots of work! :D I have been so proud of my stamina. Thanks to Cathe, everyone else (including DH, who is pretty fit) has been worn out. But I've been going strong. If you can make it through a Cathe workout 6 days a week, then 6 days of walking all day around theme parks isn't tough. ;)

I wore my Cathlete shirt all around Sea World today and was proud of it. And I felt like a Cathlete when DS8 had me climbing all through the 3-story web-maze!

Miss you gals. I'll keep popping in when I can.
 
Happy Mother's Day Ladies!

We enjoyed a nice dinner with my step-mom last night. DH grilled ribeyes, baked potatoes, corn on the cob, and home made brownies for dessert.

My planned workout for today is Legs, abs and cardio. B&G and a HIIT are sounding good today.

Lori-the date was right, I think they gave me the wrong room number. I'll probably find out on Monday. Did you ever get the S90 workouts? I've only done a couple of the workouts from that series, but like them so far. They are similar to P90X.

LauraR-sounds like you are enjoying your break. Isn't it nice to reap the benefits of being fit and healthy! Keeping up with an energetic 8 yr old can be tough.

Wendy-How was the trip yesterday? You have another busy day ahead of you too. Don't forget it's your mother's day too. I really want to go get a pedicure today...hoping I can fit that in sometime.

LauraT-what are you up to this weekend? I've been seeing all the flooding going on. It's so scary to see what mother nature can do.

Jacque-what's our long lost fitness buddy up to?

Hi Girls,

I came in to work late today b/c I had another flight last night and I have another one this evening and then again at 1 a.m. I don't know why people don't fly during work hours;) I managed to get a workout in before I came to work. I did 2.5 miles on the TM, 15 mins on the bike, HR legs and PH abs. I am hoping to get outside tomorrow morning for a run before work but we will see how late my flight is tonight.

Good Evening Ladies.

My weekend was about nothing but running for other people. I wasn't home at all y'day (left at 8am/home at 9pm) and gone all afternoon today(left at 2pm/home at 7-7:30pm). I had no time to do anything for me but my exercise today and even that was cut shorter then I had wanted. All in all my Mother's Day stunk and I may as well have not had a weekend cause I didn't get a break. :(:mad: Can't wait to go back to work tmrw so I'll have some time for myself! :rolleyes:

Today's work out was D19, hi intensity drills from kpc and waist work from Squeeze Stronger. This was the hi lite of my day and the only thing I did for me all d@mn weekend. :confused:

Oh well. It's over. Time to move on....Looking forward to a nice long cardio in the morning! I need to sweat out the crap I ate this weekend as well as the aggravation I'm feeling.

Sorry for dumping but thanks for listening!

Hope you all had a more relaxing weekend and a better Mother's Day then I did!:)
 
I debated starting another thread b/c it is after 1 here but I then realized that its not that late everywhere else...LOL.

Im back to work again...seems to be the norm. My coworker didn't have one call out while I was away. I am now on #5 and I have another one tomorrow night. Most of the calls have been around 1'ish but its usually 3 before I get home in bed and tomorrow morning I have another flight at 10 so I can't really take my time and come in. I think I wil get up and come to work and workout later in the day....if I have it in me.

LauraR** Sounds like you are having an awesome vaca!!!

Diana** Dinner sounded yummy. We had dinner at my SIL's house tonight and it was awesome. The steak melted in our mouthes. Im not a red meat fan but I really enjoyed it. I am going to have to check out those workouts you are talking about.

Wendy** Sorry your mothers day was a bust. I hate it when my day is filled up with crap for other people and I don't get my workout time in. It drives me INSANE!!! Im not a giver...LOL. So I feel your pain. I have one more day to punch here and then I am off for a nice long break!

Ok...I will probably bb sometime tomorrow, just not sure when!
