Good Morning Ladies.

My backside is burnin' up from Disc 14! ;):eek:

I did S90 Cardio Challenge and stability ball abs from PUB this morning. I should have done abs first. :rolleyes: OUCHEES! Now my shoulders are fried too! :D:eek:

Diana:: I thought about doing kickbox today. That's normally what I do the day after a good leg work out but I just wasn't in the mood. Oh well. KPC is fun. Hope you enjoyed it. :) Yup a plan that gets modified is better then no plan at all for me. It's how I roll. :D Now that I am doing the cardios from S90 I need to give BH's cardio another try. I think I was trying to go too heavy with the weights in his work out. Gonna give it another shot soon I think.

Lori:: Glad the interview wasn't as bad as you thought it would be. Nice work out.

Jacque:: Great work outs lately! Sorry about the weight gain. When you get back on track you'll lose it for sure though. (((HUGS))) Saw that baby vid on FB but never watched it...til this morning! OMG! I was rollin'! How funny and CUTE! I loved the way the one would talk and the other would laugh in response! :D Yes, been trying to make atleast one new recipe each weekend if I can. Having fun with it. Have several recipes printed out now plus a Cooking Light magazine to pick my meals from! :)

I am still DOMSING in my hammies .. and now some into my calves!! I killed myself ... LOL!!! :p NOt sure what today will bring .. may be forced rest day - DH if off and we have a date night scheduled ;)...at least SOME calories will be burned - the fun way ;)

Jacque - soooo glad to hear from you - no worries about the 8# .. when you get back on schedule sure they will drop off!! Our weather is finally clearing .. this weekend to be upper 70's and sunshine .. FINALLY :eek: :cool: sorry work has been a royal pain .. man ... Wendy is trying to be the new CHEF in our bunch .. LOL ... she has been cooking up a storm .. and looks like some FINE dishes!!

Wendy - sounds like a good schedule you have for yourself!! and I dont think my DOMS have left me since Monday's class .. although TUE is what did me in for sure!!! but it is all good!!

LauraR - yup the balls sounds like an EASY enough concept but man do they tweak those muscles .. LOL .. I love my hair .. BUT she let it process too long .. and it is BRIGHTER than I like .. but DH LOVED it ...

Lori - I was wondering about that apnt - glad it went well - and I know you will be glad to have DS assessed and get some info on what is going on!! LOL about psychologist being whacked!! In my college psyche class the teacher started out by telling us "well you know MOST psychologist get into the field b/c they are trying to figuire out their own nuerosis" ...LOL .. I will NEVER forget that line!! LOLLOL

DI - well glad bootcamp is continuing .. but BOOOOO on having to pay!! dang it!!!! I didnt realize crossfit was so expensive .. but I would love to try it out!!

OK .. today is the FIRST of the month - it will be INSANE around here when the mail runs :confused: PLUS it is the start of our Eufaula Pilgrimage celebration - huge event that draws people from all over (tours in historical district - antiques - antebellum houses and "princessess"- the flowers are all in bloom it is really pretty) - traffic will be INSANE - PLUS we have spring break traffic going to the beach .. ugh .. and people everywhere - I brought my lunch .. so only have ONE errand to run at lunch!! will have to go home the back way tho!!! OK .. gotta jet .. have a great one!:D

So I had a awesome workout this morning. DH actually brought home a pair of sneaks for me. He ordered a pair but I couldn't wait any longer so he brought home another pair. I need one for inside and outside anyway, esp this time of year.

My workout was 30 mins on TM, 15 Min on bike, Kari Andersons abs, and standing leg work of LBB. I also used my kettlebell for the paper plate lunges and the high step lunges:eek::eek: OH MY GOODNESS!!!! I almost wanted to cry!:p If I don't have DOMS tomorrow in my butt, then nothing will do it!

Wendy** LOL...you have your routine set up for the next year pretty much! Oh and we know it will change but the fact that you even have it figured out is funny enough;) I have been doing whatever for now, I will probably come up with something when I get back from my trip...or I may just keep doing what Im doing. Any plans for this weekend?

Jacque** So glad your alive and well;) I programmed your # into my phone. Don't be surprised if you ever get a text from me asking "where you are" or "when are you coming home" b/c your name is above my daughters in the J's so I could accidently text you. Im sure you will get rid of those 8 lbs. My mom is in the city and was actually wondering how I could convince her to swing my lulu for me. Now I need a long running shirt:)

Laura** Date night with hubby! Sounds like fun. Mine is going to watch a hockey game so I will be home alone. A girl I use to work with wants to get together for drinks but to be honest I don't know if I'm up for it. She yacks and yacks...its a never ending story:confused: Sounds like you have yourself and your class hurting good!

Diana** Yeah..you can't really eat what you want and workout, can we? Would be lovely all the same. Even when my eating is off, the scale will creep up a little bit. And I am on the move 24/7. My client gained about 5 lbs while she was away...lets see how long it takes her to lose it.

LauraR** I have been working shoulders and legs a little more in prep (and abs) but that's all I have been doing differently. I enjoy working shoulders anyway. I bet you are looking forward to 4 m in the us??

LauraR:: I am surprised that I don't have calve DOMS today. I upped my weights in the calf raises from D14 from a 20# DB to a 25# DB and wow what a difference! :eek:

Lori:: I wish all the butt DOMS in the world on you...INCLUDING MINE! :p I always need a plan. It may change but I am constantly trying to figure out what I will do next. Even with the STS rotation, I am always looking at my work out calendar and changing things around. I'm obsessed! :eek:
 
Hi Ladies,

I'm enjoying an amaretto sour and perusing FB. I haven't been on FB for a bit so it's time to catch up!

Wendy-I definitely went too heavy with the weights before. I was able to successfully use my 15# KB, 12# DB and 3# DB's this week. You've inspired me to try a new recipe each week. I'm using the new WW cookbook and last week I made Honey-Mustard Pork chops and they were delicious. This weekend I'm making Caribean Pork Tenderloin. It's kind of weird because I don't usually buy much pork.

Lori-I seem to be more motivated following the WW online program and was down 1# on Wednesday. I've gone back to weighing daily and hope that will help. Enjoy your sneaks! I love getting new shoes.

LauraT-I think you should definitely try out cross fit for a month. Even if you don't continue, you will get some good ideas for your class. I would definetly do cross fit if I didn't have a monthly college tuition payment. I think it would be worth it. Enjoy your date night!:D

LauraR-nice job with Amy Bento! I'm thinking about doing one of her weight w/o's tomorrow, either slo mo or All Pump Extreme. Just previewed the w/o you did, it looks awesome. I'm another Amy Bento fan and have the 2 weight w/o's mentioned above, Kickbox Xtreme and Hi/Lo Xtreme. I'd like to get more of her kickbox and kettlebell workouts.

Good Morning

I had to go back to work last night so I didn't get to bed until 12'ish and up at 7. Not to bad but I think I like more sleep Don't we all? DS is up with me as well and he is no where near being done sleeping. He came out in our bed around 6:50 and my alarm was set for 7, he didn't have enough time to settle back in and there was no way he was gonna lie in bed.

Wendy** I love butt DOMS...esp when I have a super cheeky suit that needs to be worn in a couple of weeks...LOL Adding those kettlebells kicked it up a notch!

Diana** I love getting new shoes to. I told DH (b/c I already have a pair ordered) to bring home a pair that wasn't to expensive. He said " I don't think it really matters, we own a sports store remember"...OH yeah! LOL Doesn't really matter how expensive they are, Im not paying sticker price for them. Did you see that DD updated my status on FB last night? I was on her computer when it died, I just assumed that I would have been kicked off the internet but I guess when she plugged it back in, my FB page was still open....LOL

Its crappy weather here today. Yesterday it seemed as if spring was in the air and now we are back into the middle of winter again!!! I am off tomorrow b/c I switched with Wed which is kinda nice actually. I am looking forward to having tomorrow off while DH is off as well.

Hey Girls,

Well...my day is off to a weird start. At first I wasn't impressed but after I started thinking about it and I will cope just fine. When I got into work my manager was here but he also knew that I was here last night until midnight. We have a book where we make notes for the next gal coming in (if she needs to know anything) He has a big note basically saying that effective immediately our day must start at 8:30 and end at 4:30. I was a little ticked at first but it also dawned on me that he didn't even have the nerve to tell me to my face! LOL He was probably afraid I would put my notice in. Anyway....then I started thinking...I only work every 2nd week and its only mon and tues that there is a problem b/c DS needs to be picked up at 4. I guess I will have to rely on DH to help out more and I will have to get my workouts in in the evening. No point in getting all stressed about it.

My workout was HR UB and abs, 20 mins on the TM, 40/20 and then HIC UB work and a little of the LB work as well.

Good Morning Ladies,

I've been enjoying coffee and perusing the internet this morning. We don't have anything planned for this weekend so it should be very relaxing. I've already started laundry...will probably take all day to get done.

I plan on doing UB and cardio. Probably PUB and a cardio TBD.

Lori-Sorry you now seem to have a stringent work schedule. I wouldn't be good with that. I basically work 9-6, but have a very flexible schedule. It is kind of strange that since your boss was there, he didn't mention the change to you in person. Too funny about DD posting on your FB. It was all good!

D15, cardio only from C&W and 100 reps for the lower abs DONE all by 10am! :D

I will spend the day cleaning, napping, and taking Joey to the park and then around 3:30 we are heading to my mom's to meet DH (he's working today). From there DH and DS will head up to the inlaws and I will go around the corner to my BFF's. We have a girls night planned. Dinner and drinks. Good times ahead! :)

Lori:: Sorry for the work situation. Hopefully it all turns out okay for you. I'm sure it will. :)

Diana:: The recipes you made so far sound yummy. I was tempted to buy a WW cookbook but it was in plastic wrap so I couldn't look through it first which turned me off. I am considering joining WW online after my STS rotation is complete. Maybe then I'll buy it...but maybe not....I will be getting a Cooking Light Mag subscription from my sister for my B'day and I am finding tons of good stuff online for free so the cookbook probably isn't necessary for me...:) I am sore today from Cardio Challenge. I upped some of the weights I used plus held 3# DB's in my hands for all of the exercises where he does not require weights. This makes me think I will have to be veeeery careful about where I place BH's cardio in my rotation when I decide to try it! :eek:

Guess that's all for now. I will BBL if I have time but I'm not so sure that I will so have a great afternoon/evening if I don't get back here today!

Good morning ladies !

Y'day I did some work at home, shopped a bit (bought S90 @ BBB with my 20% coupon - now I gotta check it out!), lounged in the sun and by the time I was done with that had a pollen headache so didn't work out. BOOH !

This AM was up and about earlier than usual and have completed Supersets. Gonna head out to plant some of the flowers I bought y'day and then off to shop for the possibility of a brand new commuter car. Think we can get a deal on a "stripped down" version of a Civic for the good gas mileage. Then it is off to a hockey game !

Lori - LOL about your DD and FB and the texts I might receive. :p That would be too funny ! I'm in need of new shoes too as I noticed hip pain the last time I ran on the TM and my workout shoes are breaking down too. What are you using these days? Bummer about schedules at work but sometimes is needs to be that way - not sure if that is the case for you or just a stingy manager (think I could guess correctly on that one though!) :rolleyes:

Diana - good for you on lounging around this weekend. I'll be really really jealous if you find a great job where you can work from home - but happy for you for sure after all the time you have spent where you are and are getting "deadlocked". I know that feeling. Honestly if I had a great assistant in place I would have checked out a job that is half again closer and pays what I am making now. Only problem is I am not sure how stable it is and with DH in construction (not stable at all right now with no benefits), I can't move anywhere that isn't at least stable. In due time if need be though. Your dinner sounds good - I like pork cuz it's a cheaper cut of meat and lean lean lean. Lawry's has a great Carribean Jerk marinade that I like - cheap at Wally world - like $2 per bottle - I use it to marinate shrimp and chicken. Hope it turns out great!

Wendy - sounds like a great day planned for you. I have been picking and choosing my workouts and am toying with STS if I can stay straight on getting at least 5 w/o's per week in for a bit. Need to get my stamina and some strength back before I attempt it though. Course now I wanna play with S90 too ! ;) I subscribed to Cooking Light also - love the recipes though I haven't tried many since DH grills and just got a new smoker. Will come in handy for some of those nights where we just need a quick meal though. I have a fav WW recipe from 20+ years ago with rice, shredded carrots, egg and cheese. Was a super one for the kids as it turned out like a casserole and tasted yummy ! Don't eat rice anymore though but bet it would be great with quinoa or brown rice. <<< hmmmmmmm . . . >>>

Poochy - Hope your date night was a fun one (as they always seem to be ;)) Weather today is overcast but not too cold - tomorrow is supposed to be sunny but high 60's. Hope your pilgrammage event doesn't cause too much trouble - sounds like our Garlic Festival which brings in 100,000+ over the course of 3 days to our little city of 50K. I actually enjoy people watching that weekend ! :rolleyes:

LauraR - I have been thinking about doing a 90 min workout lately but can barely make it an hour right now. Great job ! Personally don't have any AB but everyone here seems to like her stuff. Mine is mostly Cathe with a few others here and there. Mostly due to *Wendy's AFD (attention fitness deficit)* ahem ! Think you know what I mean . . . ;) :p :D

Off for now ladies - hope to keep on track from here on out though my posts may be sporadic until I get my schedule more consistent and help at work.

Good Morning

I slept until 8:30 today...I haven't done that it I don't know how long! I woke up a few times and actually thought about starting my day but what for? I only have one person to train today so I don't need to get up and do anything.....so I stayed in bed until DS decided it was time to start our day.

I was hoping to run outside today but I don't think the weather is gonna be in my favor. I think we are suppose to get light snow, which isn't a biggie. But I don't like the cold. I may or may not have had one of my clients swing by lulu in the city and pick up a long sleeve running shirt I may have been eyeing and a pair of shorts. So I may or may not wait to wear these new shorts, that I may or may not have bought My plan today is to do cardio, HR legs and probably GS floor work and some abs.

I have a tanning appt in 15 mins...I will bb for personals!
