Morning Glories.

Sorry I was pretty much MIA this weekend. It was one of those weekends where I can honestly say that I don't know where the time went. :eek::confused:

So Saturday I did D34 (C&B), 400 mountain climbers and 100 rock climbers. YEOWCH!

Y'day I did D35 (Plyo) and my own weighted ab work using an 8# med ball hitting upper, obliques and then lower.

SO IT'S DONE! I FINISHED STS!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOT WOOT!!!!:D:D:D:D

Today is a rest day and then tmrw I start some active recovery with cardio/abs only. I will rest again on friday (maybe!;)) and then Saturday I'll start my BR rotation which (as of right now) will look like this:

sat: Full Body Weight Work Out DVD of choice
sun: Cardio DVD of choice
mon/tue/wed/thur: Body Rock
fri: Rest

Morning Ladies,

I braved the scale and haven't seen this high number in a long time. I knew it was up but am glad I weighed and hope to get it back down over the next week or so. Clean eating and the cardio recovery week will certainly help. I'm considering doing Insanity after STS.

Today is disc 23-legs and tonight is bootcamp. Oh, and its back to work for me today, UGH. Geuss I can't stay home forever.

Wendy-Congrats on completing STS. You should feel really stronng. Meso 3 is amazing! So are you just going to follow the BR day to day workouts? I would probably need a few days prepared before I started. I don't know all their moves yet, but guess you will have them all figured out shortly!

Monday - UGH

Morning Ladies!!!

SOOOO it rained ALL WEEKEND - no sunning by pool :( but I am not complaining .. we sure did need the rain!!! but made for a boring weekend - I got my housework done - STARTED organinzing my closet - totally underestimated the amount of new stacking hangers I ordered .. gotta regroup on that one!! who knew I had so many clothes ,.. yikes! I did manage to exercise SAT: speed and agility - the plan was S&A AND STS :eek: HA it kicked my butt I can TOTALLY tell I had not done that workout in 2 weeks .. (sts didnt get done) yikes!!! I was spent afterwards - SUN - HIGH REPS :eek: OK .. another slap in the face - those light weight/high reps kicked my butt - forgot how hard that was - freakin 5# tris KILLED!!!!! LOLOL - I am not sore tho and totally expected to be!!

Wendy - WOOOHOO done w/STS - please get on my butt - I didnt get up this morning and start Meso 3 - I GOT to get out of vacation mode here!!!

Di - saw your pics of DGB's PRECIOUS!!!!! I know ya'll are having a blast!!!!

Lori - missing you girlie - hoping all is ok!!!

LauraR - hoping all is well with you too!!

OK - gotta get busy - today is errands at lunch - gonna try to find some more of my hangers - I may have to ORDER them .. sigh .. then tonight is plyo circuit class - I WAS REALLY BAD this weekend on the eats :eek::eek::eek::eek: REAL BAD - so I am kicking it up a notch in class this week :eek: have a great one! ;)
 
Diana:: Way to get back on track w/your eating and tracking! It can be way too easy to get off course when you can't see what you are eating written down in front of your face IMO. Still not exactly sure how I will handle which BR work outs I will do when. I'll probably just pick some arbitrary start date based on a work out that I want to do and just follow along from that point on....

LauraT:: Get back on that STS bandwagon before it gets away from you girl!!!!!!!!!!:eek:

LauraR:: In my experience hotels that offer free wi-fi are few and far between. I have optimum as my internet provider and that includes free wi-fi where available. Well when we are in our favorite place (A/C), those hotels all charge a premium for wi-fi and therefore we are unable to get our free service w/optimum regardless of wether it would otherwise be available or not! GRRRRR! :mad:
 
So far so good, well within my points range for today...so far. Not sure I'm going to make it to bootcamp. It's already 6:20 and my class starts at 7...and I'm still at work.

Today's work out was 60 mins of KCM cardio + abs as follows:

30 M to Fitness K/B: Kicking Only premix
Circuit Burn: 1/2 of Cardio & Boxing premix wearing weighted gloves (she goes thru same moves 2x so I only did them once)
TLC: Express Cardio Premix w/weighted gloves
30 M to Fitness B/C: 15 min of the Cardio Only premix
NYC Body Sculpting: Abs + Stretch

Diana:: So did you finish the day w/in your WW points range? :) That stinks that you probably had to miss BC b/c of work. Blech. Sorry.

Morning My Ladies!!!

Last night was a sweatfest!!! I did circuit class - step circuit, weight circuit, plyo circuit, plyo step circuit!!! :eek: yeessssssss was great - I hated to sit on my seats in my car b/c I was so nasty and sweaty!! ugh had a woman that took from me when I first started teaching - I noticed her talking to her friend during class pointing at me .. I was thinkin .. OK .. wasnt sure what was going on .. but I went up to her called her by name .. she said "OMG I cant blv you remember me - OMG - you look FABULOUS - i was telling my friend you look better than you did forever ago - wow" .. :eek: :D:D:D yes that made me feel good - I feel STRONGER than i did 25 years ago!!!! :D

Wendy - I was lurking on your STS bodyrock posts (sorry - was curious about the name of the thread) - you are gonna submit your success story - TOTALLY AWESOME - you need to - would be a great story!!! cant wait to see your latest pics - thanks for the URGING - I GOT MY ARSE UP and started Meso3 :eek: :D (pat myself on the back) - I have got to go and buy new weights - I am stronger than last time - I need more plates for my barbell and heavier dumbells - my barbell is maxed out at 55 - 60# and the heaviest dumbell I have is 25# I need at least 30# .. What was your meso 3 weight for chest press and rows??? I am at the max on the chest .. but can go heavier on the rows

Off subject - did you see Extreme body makeover last night?? OMG .. it just affected me bad - the man was addicted to food - it didnt end happy and it was SO SAD - it really bothered me - I could barely sleep for thinking about what a torturous life that man lives .. terrible!!!!!

So errands at lunch - taking my friend that has "C" some lunch - then gonna see if wallyworld by CHANCE has my weights I need!!! Then tonight is core, weights, plank, pushup, plyo torture!!! :p OUR HEAT INDEX is 113 degrees today :confused::confused::confused: i hope to H### they have my air on - ystdy it WAS on but it is so hot and humid and the air is so thick even w/air on it is terrible hot and muggy!!!!

OK .. have a great one .. I will BBL to see what you girlies are up to!
 
Laura:: My final weights in the last chest and back w/o of STS were 66# for flat bench chest press, 62 for incline bench press and 71 for rows. Ofcourse they went a little heavier then that when there were less reps. though.

Yes, I'll be working on getting pics taken and my story written and submitted this weekend. I LOVE the results I got!!! :) I just hope that you can see in the pics what I see in the mirror!!!:confused: Hot one by you too today I see. I don't think we will get THAT hot but will be in 90's and humid. YUCK! My poor DH has to work outside in this in long sleeves and jeans w/work boots!!! :eek:

Hi Ladies,

OMG, Shaun T. kicked my butt this morning. I had to be to work early so had to do a shorter w/o...I chose Vertical Plyo! I've done this one before and really like it, but did it totally kicked my butt today. I even stopped and stared at the tv...UGH....not like me. Glad it did it though. I think tomorrow will be my last meso 2 w/o, back & bi's. By the way, I'm down 1.1#'s since yesterday...on a roll!

Wendy-nice mish mosh this morning girl. Can't wait to see your STS success story! Isn't it amazing how heavy you can lift! I'm always amazed at the weight I can lift in meso 3, much heavier than I would ever try to lift on my own.

LauraT-OMG, 113...you've got to be kidding..I would die! Definitely call ahead and make sure they have the air turned on for you. Definitely get some heavier weights, they make a huge difference. We are in the 90's and humid too. We've been getting thunder showers every afternoon for the past week, at least it cools things off a bit. I haven't seen Extreme Body Makeover...only the advertisements for it.

Diana:: OMG Vertical Plyo sounds evil! :eek: Good job!!!! Yes, meso 3 was fantastic! I thought I would hate it! Who knew! I also thought meso 1 would be my fave and I liked it the least! :p I feel so strong, and lean and cut and wow. Just wow! Between STS and WW, my body has completely changed! I am totally serious when I say I think I have reached a new level in fitness w/this combination! I am sooooo thrilled! :D Yay for the weight loss! Keep it up! Start checking back in at the WW check in. We have a couple new faces now that started in the past day or so!:)
So speaking of stopping and staring at the tv-I have HIS on tap for tmrw! It's been about 2 weeks since I last did it-this could be bad! LOL I am going to do the double cardio though so I know that I'll atleast get a work out with LIS! ;)
 
OK .. so wallyworld DID have some weights :eek: yayayyaa - I am shocked - man hate dishing out those $$$ for iron torture .. LOL!!! But I got them now!!! :D DH gonna think I lost my mind!!!

Ya Di - it is like a MELTING POT outside - terrible!!! Your skin gets moist when you step out in it .. NASTY!!!! the actual temp is 100 - and the index is 113 .. and that feels like an UNDER-ESTIMATE!! UGH

WENDY - I am stronger this round of STS too - not quite where you are but almost!!! CONGRATS on the new found body - WTG - maybe one day i can say the same!! ;)

OK .. just had a long lost friend (havent seen in ages) come in and her and her DH are seperated .. after 30+ years :( WOW .. they were always up and down in their relationship but after 30 years .. wow .. I cant imagine - and HOPE I DONT HAVE TO EVER FIND OUT!!! SAD - really sad!!!! but she seemed ok!! :confused:- I am at a loss - makes me want to go home and wrap my arms around my DH and tell him I love him - guess you never know huh? :(
 
Laura:: Don't forget that I did a longer STS rotation. It helped me increase my weights more then I could have if I had only done the 3.5 month version!!! So sad about that couple but hey, if you are not happy, you are not happy. Perhaps this should have happened years ago!? Sad but quite possibly a long overdue decision! :(
 
Wendy--Hurray!!! So awesome you finished STS. I remember back when you started and were debating the doubling up. What a journey. You are amazing! (Now see, you DO stick with some kind of schedule. It's not ALL mish-moshing!) :p;)

LauraT--You go girl with the organizing. You know, that's one thing that people (who know me well) have been able to laughingly say about the fire . . . I don't have to clean out any closets. Hee hee! :) Only my REALLY good friends can say that. But even in the middle of the chaos, there is humor! :p Hope you get everything done.

Diana--I'm going to be working my way out of a hole at the end of this "home assignment." You can do it, girl.

Today was shopping and eating. I'm in Ohio with my mom's family, and today we went to an Amish country "home cooking" restaurant that was AMAZING. It was one of those rare moments where I really pigged out. Oh, I was hurting afterwards, and it reminded me why I DON'T usually do that. But man, the food was awesome. When you order pie, you can get your piece split into 3 "slivers" so you can sample different kinds. OMG!! I promise you . . . every "sliver" was an entire piece. DH took a picture. I ate ONE "sliver" and brought the rest of it "home" to the fridge at the hotel (where I have free wi-fi, thank you very much!). Heaven knows what I will do with the rest of that pie! It needs to go out the window! :D

Then, to salve my conscience, I did Bryan Kest Power Yoga 2. :D

I'm heading down for my last meso 2 workout! Then I will have a week of hard core cardio and abs to assist with the weight loss. Down another 1.1# this morning!

The girls wanted to "workout" last night so I put in Imax 3 for them. Go check out the pics on FB. They are too cute for sure!

Wendy-I'll try to pop in on the WW thread.

LauraT-that's too bad about your friends marriage. Maybe this is best for both of them. Way to go on getting heavier weights!

LauraR-glad you are enjoying your stay in the states! Funny story about the 3 slivers actually being 3 slices! At least you have an excuse, being on vacation and away from home for months. I'm just a little piggie.:D

4DS Double Cardio for me today! You believe it!? First time I've done that premix for obvious reasons! :p I made it through! I didn't have time to rewind much though so when the 2nd blast of HIS wasn't clicking I resorted to jumping jacks and high knees until it was over. I got the 3rd combo! It wasn't pretty but I did it! That blast too! Again, it was ugly but I basically got it! Woot! Even did the challenge! Oh happy day!*dances around room* LOL Oh and I finished off my w/o with a 3 min prone plank hold! My new record!!!!!!!!!!!:D

Diana:: I will hafta go check out the pics of your girls doing IMAX3. I bet they are better at it then I am! ;) Congrats on the continued weight loss! That's fantastic! :) Last work out of M2 is more good news! Wow! :D

LauraR:: I was drooling as I was reading about your 3 slivers of pie! OMG, YUM! Speaking of dessert, my DH's b'day is saturday and we are going out to dinner at our favorite pizza place/restaraunt with his family. Afterwards they are coming back to our house for dessert. I am going to try my hand at making a dark chocolate bread pudding recipe I found at www.skinnytaste.com. Looks wonderful! I am also going to buy some vanilla icecream to go with it and a bunch of cookies from a local bakery. To heck with dinner I say! I want dessert! LOL TY re STS. I am very proud of me. I never thought I would be able to stick with it and see it through. So glad I did though! :D

DOMS: forearms (sts) chest (sts) butt (me) hammies (me) OUCHEE!!!! :eek: Last night I changed up - had one of my regulars fracture a bone in her foot and she wanted to come and try to do something so I did some shaping combined w/the jumping jack series - did high reps UB and LB!!! I GOT UP THIS MORNING - fried the rest of my body - bis, tris, shoudlers!!! Meso 3 disc 3 - and tonight is full out PLYO :eek: :D:D:p

Wendy - WTG on the workout - hey ugly or not you did it!!! :p

Di - I was finally able to go up on BIS full reps :D yayayayayayaya!!! but as Wendy said - that last rep wasnt pretty!!!! LOL

LauraR - well it is good you can have a sense of humor amid all the horror of the fire!!!! I can only imagine how good the Amish food was .. my stomach is growling just thinking about it!!! LOL and one "sliver" isnt real bad!!! :p you showed restraint ;)

LauraT:: Good job getting back in the game this morning and doing your weight work out! That stinks for your regular in class. A fellow Cathlete in another check in of mine recently broke her arm while cycling. She is totally restricted from all exercise for 5 weeks. I feel so bad for her. :(
 
Good Morning Ladies,

Second try at posting this morning since my laptop decided to run its automatic updates and restart during my post. I can feel DH's cold is being passed on to me. It's starting in my head, ears and throat.

This morning will be cardio of choice. Nothing is really coming to mind so I'll just pick something out when I get downstairs. My weight is only down .2 this morning, but I'll take it.

Wendy-What did you do this morning? I haven't looked at the BR site in almost a week and a half. I need to get back to that. Is your BR rotation starting soon?

LauraT-have a great time fishing. Hope the weather and seas are good for your last trip of the season. Nice job getting back to STS. I will be starting meso 3 sometime next week.

LauraR-So are you going on the RT in NJ? I must've forgotten that. I'm pretty sure we were there the same year, I think 2007? Wendy could probably confirm that since she was there too. I did get to go do San Diego last year but would love to go on another RT.

Good Morning Ladies.

I got the Amy Dixon vids last night that I ordered so ofcourse I had to do one this morning! :p

Breathless Body and OMG is it aptly named! YEOWZA!:eek:

I also bought a jump rope at Target last night. It's adjustable so I fixed it to fit me and guess what? My ceiling fans get in the way so I am going to have a very hard time finding a place I can use it. :( :mad: I thought my space was just too small but that's not it at all. The rope hits the fan in any room I am in. :rolleyes::confused::mad:

So I signed up for a new cell phone plan on line and ordered a new phone on sunday. Came into work late just to be able to pick my phone up from UPS b/c Tmobile requires a signature upon delivery and no one is home when they deliver. So I get to work with it and go to activate and it doesn't have a SIM card so it's useless!!! WHAT!?! :mad::mad::mad: Now I have to either go to a T Mobile store to get a sim card or wait for them to ship one to me. I chose to go to a store. I am going out after work tonight but luckily there is a store close by. Hopefully it won't take too long. :rolleyes:

Diana:: We went onthat road trip in 2008. Just wore the Tshirt from the other day as a matter of fact.:) So what cardio did you decide on? Sorry about the cold. Take a bunch of vit c or airborne. It should help.

ETA:: Changed my WW weigh in day to today this week because I am going out for dinner tonight. Down .8# this week! YAY! :)

Hi Girls:eek::p

Can you tell Im sheepish?:) Thought I would let you all know that I am still alive. Im not well....but alive. I am in my 11th week now and this as been the worst week to date. I thought or atleast hoped that this would be easing up by now....instead it did the opposite. In the meantime I haven't threw up in the last 2 days...that's a record! I am hoping over the next couple of weeks to feel more "normal". I haven't been working out either. I have gotten a couple of workouts in but nothing to rant about. I've gained about 5 lbs so far...which isn't that bad. I thought I had gained more. Even though I have been sick, I can still eat....its odd.

I am hoping to start checking in again when I resume working out. Atleast I will have something to talk about then. Glad to see you haven't forgotten about me!!!
