Good Morning Girls!

This morning's work out was 20 minutes of Insanity Max Cardio Conditioning, 5 1RM's for U/B, 100 reps for lower abs and 120 reps per leg for inner thighs. I'm eating my oatmeal as I type this and then it's off to the showers!

Good Morning!:)

I had to go back to work last night so I got to sleep in for a little while this morning. I feel pretty good considering that I was didn't go to bed until 1....but I don't think I moved all night!

I am going to go outside for a run very soon. It's 8:10 now and I want to be out of here by 8:30....might be tough. I was gonna set my alarm for 7 and run between 8-9 but when I went to bed I decided that sleep was more important! LOL

I will bbl to catch up on personals!

Good Morning Ladies,

Last night was the first bootcamp class of the summer....and it kicked my butt! We did lots running, sprinting, pushups, hills, walking lunges and dips. After this class I always feel so out of shape, like I've never worked out before. I'm also down 3lbs!!! I'm not going to get too excited as I'm all too familiar with the everyday ups and downs on the scale. But it is a start and motivating non the less.

I was leaning towards KPC this morning, Max Cardio is sounding good too. Lately I've just been taking cues from Wendy. Lunch w/o is Chest and Triceps at the rec ctr.

Wendy-Nice job on those 1RM's. They seem to take forever to get through. I only ever did them the first time I did STS and basically used the same wts the second time through.

Lori-Hope you have a great run. Is this your first run after the Mary?? Tomorrow will be another run day for me. I may do a 3 mile interval run. I need to start changing it up, the same 5 miles at the same pace is pretty boring. Probably starting next week I will do shorter and longer runs, somewhat following Hal Higdons program.

Laura-hope DM is recovering nicely from her surgery! No worries, I'm working out enough for you too and my body is so sore this morning. Gotta love it!

Jacque-what are you up to? Did you get the carpets finished?

Lori:: I hear ya on sleep winning out. It's a struggle for me not to sleep thru my work outs during the week these days. I don't know what's going on but all of the sudden I want to sleep in all the time! So not like me!? How was your run?

Diana:: Sounds like a kick @$$ class you had! Every time I take a break from certain type of training/work out for a bit and then go back to it, it makes me feel like a whimp. Doesn't mean you are out of shape. Just not used to BC anymore! Glad I can inspire your cardio lately. I shoot from the hip and never know what I'll end up doing though I am trying very hard to include Insanity 2x per week. There are a ton of 1Rm's. I won't be doing all of them but should finish enough of them before my STS start date. They are not as lame as I thought they would be. I am not hating doing them like I thought I would so that's good. I am just making upper body w/o's out of them. It's working out nicely for me.

ETA: Diana, the ship date for Bob Harper's new series has been changed to the 18th! :(

Good Morning Ladies !

Well I'm glad yesterday is over and am not sure today will be any better but we'll see. Wound up with a very sore back from 2 days of gardening so it was a rest day for me. Tonight is voting and I still haven't looked at the ballot so not sure if I'll have time to w/o or not.

Lori - enjoyed your stories from yesterday ! Especially that DH tried your workout. Hope your marathon buddy gets the hint soon. I'm with you on sleeping in too, not that I workout in the AMs anyway.

Wendy - Totally understand not doing all the 1RM's. What I did was print out the workouts and then see what I still needed to do to get through the first Meso. Many of the exercises are similar so you can gauge from there. Nice job getting Diana to jump into the Bob w/o's with you ! :p I'm guessing I may be there one of these days - I like his other w/o's. I ended up finishing outside about 6 so that was close to 7 hours of gardening on Sun and about 4 or 5 on Sat. Looks nice though ! ;)

Diana - Woo Hoo on the 3 lbs - that is enough to motivate me too. And now with your running & bootcamp I bet it will continue to melt off. We were lucky and our temps never got high - only mid 70 today. Carpet cleaner is still not fixed - now I need to order a motor but it will be cheaper than a new machine. Hope it fixes the problem. Did finish my gardens though !

Morning Ladies ..

I am back at work - exhausted!!! :( but mama did good .. she is at home and we will be waiting to hear from the Dr about the other surgery .. but right now she is resting at home ..so she is happy .. I really think she was scared she had cancer this time .. but THANK GOD .. that is not the case!! :)

I feel like I have not been settled in a while .. have a back log of work here .. so gotta get to it!!

Di - kicka$$ bootcamp class ... I am soooo looking forward to getting back into my normal kick@$$ workouts .. thanks for the hugs for mama ..

Jacque - thanks for the hugs for mama ... :).. she is feeling better ..think just releived it isnt cancer (knock on wood)

Wendy .. I dont see how you do insanity in the morning!

Lori ..your post yesterday did make me LOL :D bet DH ego is about as sore as his body :D ;)

Damage Control is the theme for today, but it's about making sure my kids get what they need that I was neglecting!!!

Paperwork, trips to the doctor, more paper work, eat salad and egg whites, drink water, email people, blah, blah. Missing my road trip buddies. Love to you all, Jen

Ok .. about an hour before I teach .. I think I am going to do the class I did last week that made me sooooo sore .. PLUS gonna EEEEEASSEE in some upright cardio .. like jacks .. jump squats ..plyo jacks w/o arms .. if I hurt - I will MIND and stop!! :mad: but I am thinking it is gonna be LOTS bettter! :D wish me luck!:D
 
Hi ladies,

Got home from work at 6:45 and no one had started dinner...and I'm starving. We are having smothered burritos and the ground beef is just about ready.

My boss finally scheduled my quarterly review for tomorrow afternoon. My first review this year. I don't expect any surprises but am going to discuss a promotion with him.

Wendy-I ended up doing Max Interval Plyo...good thing I took a towel with me, I sweat buckets with the Insanity w/o's. It was a great w/o though and I'm glad I did tomorrow. Also made it to the rec ctr for Chest and Triceps. Tomorrow morning I am running. BH is not shipping until the 18th....no worries for me since I just started a new rotation.

Jacque-Wow, that is a ton of gardening. Hope your back feels better soon. I'm definitely happy with the 3lbs, but don't want to get too excited cuz the scale seems to go up and down...never just down for me.

Laura-glad mom does not have the big C. I'm sure that is a relief for all of you. Good Luck with your class tonight...you know you are the teacher and even if you can't do it...you can still instruct your class to!;)

Jen-hey missy, you are out for the summer now right???? So much easier to take care of yourself when you don't have to deal with tons of kids all day long. Hope all is well with you and your family...pop in anytime!
