Morning!:)

Couldn't make up my mind this morning if I wanted to work out or rest. Ended up working out but was short on time by the time I decided so I did HiiT 40/20 plus abs from CTX Power Circuits. May be shorter then the originally planned Pure Cardio but it's certainly not easier! :eek::eek::eek:

Good Morning Ladies,

I'm a bit sore this morning!:D Dom's to report in the back and buns!! Ultimate Fitness was a great workout last night. It was circuit and a lot of fun. I may try to hit that class the next few Wednesday's when I work from home!

This morning is STS Legs and abs of choice. I also need to try to go weigh in sometime today. I have a lunch meeting so will have to stop in either before or after that, but would prefer before I eat lunch.:p

I went with DH to the Dr. yesterday and his cellulitis is back. Its a serious skin infection on the lower leg and it is red, severely swollen and itchy. The Dr. said it is itching because of the swelling and the skin is so stretched. He's on some antibiotics and a diuretic to get rid of the swelling. They also drew a line at the top the redness and said to get to an emergency immediately if the redness goes above that line. This is the same thing he was in the hospital for this summer.

Wendy-nice job on the w/o even though you were undecided when you got up today! I was actually looking forward to another round of P90X, but a friend wants to borrow it and is picking it up on Saturday. I'm doing the w/o's from meso 2 twice, because I am finding it difficult to go up in weight each week...probably because I didn't do meso 1 to prepare for the next mesocycle. It is really tough with biceps for me too. I used a 45# barbell for curls yesterday and it was tough tough tough.

Jacque-We kicked your butt, we kicked your butt!!!!! Okay, so it was a close game...and we won in OT....we kicked your butt!! 'Nuff said.:D Hope you were able to get a w/o in...remember..you come first.

Lori-hope today is better for you girl.

Laura-I'm guessing this Ultimate Fitness class is similar to what you do. After our warmup, we did suicides, walking weighted lunges, crossovers, tricep work on the ball, squat thrusts and plyo work, pushups on the ball, then we did some partner work with the band. It was really fun.

I'm back...

So I've decided to change up the next month with the new Cathe work outs. Originally I was going to keep the same basic rotation as I am doing now by alternating use of STS F/B and HIGH REPS, doing each one time per week but I've been doing this rotation for what...6 weeks now? Time for a change, even if it's slight SO, I may regret this (cause it's bound to be painful! LOL) but I am going to alternate the 2 f/b work outs doing a different one each week along with doing LOWER BODY BLAST once a week. That should be a good n evil way to mix it up a bit. ;)

Diana:: Glad you enjoyed the class at the rec center. Something different and fun. Good for you! Sorry about DH. What a bummer. I hope it doesn't get worse and land him in the hospital again. :( Oh weigh-ins. I hate em no matter what but I refuse to do it any time of day but first thing in the morning after I pee, with no clothes on and ONLY if I didn't eat badly the day before! :p I am deathly afraid of (yet still excited in a demented sort of way!lol) this hybrid rotation I am going to be doing next month more so because of P90X then Insanity! I haven't done the X in ages and C&B is going to KILL KILL KILL me the first few times! :eek: Jen may join me but she will likely be subbing in something else for the X as her set is lent out right now and she's not sure she will be successful at getting it back anytime too soon. Hate when that happens! :rolleyes: You can always try doing a version of it with STS if you won't have the X you know! *evil grin*

Good morning ladies !

Well no w/o's to report since Monday. Tues didn't get home until 7:30, ate, went to sleep, up early for a 6:45 AM departure and home just in time to "make" DH take me out to watch the game against Diana's team. Guess you saw who won . . . :eek:

Hoping tonight I'll get one in . . . DH has hockey at 7:15 so he'll be outta here shortly after 6 and I'll have the house to myself with no dinner to worry about ! Woot Woot Woot ! ! !

Wendy - I think I'll believe your rotation once you start it, Ha ! Sounds to mee that you have been lifting heavier recently than you have for quite a while so I bet the "X" won't be quite as hard as you think. Maybe different muscles with the pull ups but you'll do fine !

Diana - bummer about DH . . . hope it goes well for him. Let's just say I know you were sweating buckets until the middle of the 3rd ! :p After that your guys really turned it on and ours dropped their game. Congrats ! I always believe the better team should win and it turned out that way. Sounds like a fun class you went to - switching it up works wonders.

Lori - busy busy girl. Hope all went well with the "bosses". ITA about a 2nd opinion if what you hear doesn't sound right. In hearing about being advanced in some areas and behind in other sounds just like a human being to me. I'm guessing most programs are targeted to age based upon how you explained they evaluate that way . . . perhaps they'll just need to assess where he fits in different 'categories', just like a teacher would do with a student in areas of learning, and then work on those that he needs further development. Don't forget to ask for things you or the family can help with. I believe that those of us close to them can teach them loads ! ;)

Laura - Sounds like you are doing pretty well and having a little fun - much at the expense of your classes ! :p Your company sure puts on lots of nice events for their employees. Good for you !

Well I have to prep for an early conf. call. Work is going to get interesting again . . . (did it stop yet?). Our Lead team meeting y'day brought about a few new things to work on and some of it falls on me. However, I will be getting help and others have been asked to 'back off' for a bit to let me get myself set up before I can attack some of their needs. Then I'll get to work on my own personal goals and plan of action. Hopefully they fit in with the company's. I am feeling a little better . . . now we'll see if the plans set y'day go through without too much upheaval.

Jacque:: Which rotation are you referring to with all of your doubt, missy? :p If I were you, it'd be wise to doubt the hybrid. :D The month of new Cathe's WILL happen! ;) Sorry your team got there butts whooped but atleast you had fun right? Sounds like you finally got a bit of positive reinforcement and backing from the higher ups at work? YAY-3 points for Jacque! Glad you feel a bit better now! :) Don't you just LURVE having the house to yourself? I don't get that very often right now but when I do it's awesome! DH bowls 2x a week though so even having it be just me and DS for a few hours is nice. :) Yes, I have been lifting heavier. I am by no means squatting small buildings, lol, but I'm not doing Tonique/BBL right now either (even though I *heart* them so!)! :p Perhaps after my attempt at the hybrid I will be brave enough to give STS a go again. I want to but I keep chickening out. I am just so afraid after the last time even though I have a more cardio intensive rotation in mind for it the next time.
 
So my mom won me some $$$ the last time she was in A/C and I've decided to put it to good use! ;) I just pre-ordered Jillian's new ab dvd and will be ordering a few things off of Collage as well! Merry Christmas to me! :)
 
UGH. Totally pissed off and stressed out right now :mad::(:confused:

I/we have a credit card that we really don't use. Haven't in ages but I just never cancelled it. The one time I tried ages ago they somehow cohersed me to NOT cancel by giving me a bigger credit line (though I don't need it and wld never use it!). :rolleyes: So anyway, even though I don't use it actively I frequently check the account on line for activity just in case b/c once in a blue moon me or DH will use it accidentally. Well for ages now the balance has been zero. So today I am checking my email and I get a msg from the cc company that my account is past due!? WTH? So I look and we must've used the card to get virus protection on a pc. It's only charged yearly so I completely forgot about it. Somehow I must've missed the account statement notification and ofcourse this is the one time I didn't just go in and check on my own. So I try to pay the bill online and it's asking me all these questions about my financial conditions and why I am late. Reading it made me feel like a piece of crap. What's worse is it wouldn't let me pay the bill w/o answering the questions and where it asked why I am late there was no applicable option. I finally called and was able to just pay it over the phone BUT to make matters even more stressful, I couldn't find my main check card and they don't accept credit cards. So I find my alternate debit card and it's declined. WTF!?! There's $$ in the account. I just checked it so I wrote to them asking why they would decline it. Embarrassing! Finally I found my regular debit card and paid the bill and cancelled the card but now I have to contact Norton to switch the billing AND I will have a final bill coming from this cc company for interest so I have to make sure I am on top of it and don't forget again! :mad::rolleyes::confused:

This really bugs me as I think it might have been late enough to possibly get reported to the credit beaurea. I pay my bills and I don't pay late! This was a silly stupid oversight and if my credit was affected over it I am gonna be really upset. I take great pride in my credit history/score. My mom raised me to pay my bills ON TIME! :(

I just bought a nestle crunch bar out of the vending machine here at work. I ate one piece and put the rest away in my lunch bag. I feel better now. ;)
