OK. Finally time for personals.
Everyone—Thanks for your thoughts about diet drinks and artificial sweeteners. I will drink mine with less guilt.
Also, thanks to everyone for the encouragement in my running. I feel like I’m finally getting traction (no pun intended). I increase the length of my run and decrease the length of my rest tomorrow. I’m pumped.
And thanks to
Wendy, Laura, and Diana for video suggestions. Sound like we have some serious video libraries out there!
Wendy—the Amy Bento I have is not step. It is Hi-Lo. It will be amazing if I have video info to give to you! I’ll feel like a real video queen!
Lori—your schedule is amazing. 5 sessions in a day. Plus a regular job? Wow. And if taking down the tree is your idea of “relaxing evening,” you have more energy than me, girl. And run, bike, then MMA? Holy Cow. You go!
Laura—I looked at Bob Harper. Wow. Those look awesome. I’ve heard good things about Insanity and would like to try it to. But I would’ve never looked twice at the Brazilian Butt Lift if a Cathlete hadn’t suggested it. Is it tough? Yeah, I used to be all whiney about our internet, and then I learned some of my stateside friends actually had it worse than me. So I had to quit acting pitiful!
Jacque—what are Pace Weights? I’ve seen plate mates, but you said Pace weights work on neoprene?
Diana—Good job on STS legs! I guzzle water on STS leg workouts, too. In fact, those were the workouts where I really discovered the value of sports drinks. I could make it through a workout with just water, but I was dying at the end. The sports drink gave me just enough umph to finish strong (but still way tired!) And good for you, packing coolers to take to work. That’s commitment! And my runs are all outside. We have great weather year-round. I love being outside.
Enjoy the last hours of your weekend. I’m heading to bed!
