Damage Control November!!!

We were up at 5am this morning to get the girls up, ready and to the airport by 6am. Well they took much longer ugh. I still thought we had plenty of time. The check in line was super long. The security line was pretty short and went fast, except they pulled the girls backpack and we had to wait about 20 minutes for it. By the time we got to their gate, they were already boarding. Oh, I get my braces off on December 4th!!!

I did a BR w/o and the next STS disc, it was legs. I was pretty wiped from the BR w/o and had to take longer breaks during STS. The normal rest is 30 seconds, I took about 40-50 seconds rest on some of them. I'm off to the store and then I have to work about 4-5 hours today.

DS2 and a friend put down money on an apartment. They both have bad credit. Needless to say, they lost it but will continue to look. DS2 is finally realizing that he needs a cheaper car.

Sounds like you had an eventful Thanksgiving. You are getting in some good w/o's. How are you liking S&S? Oh, I did sign up for Cathe Live & On Demand for 6 mos. We'll see how it goes. Enjoy whole 30! I think it is a great plan. The elimination of chocolate and wine is hard for me. I don't eat dairy so that's not an issue. Do you and your DH know what you want to do to the house? We have a list of affordable things that we will be working on this next year. Replacing the ceiling fans in the 3 secondary bedrooms, replace the 2 upstairs hall chandeliers, re-caulk one of the bathrooms etc.

Sounds like you had a good weekend except for the extra work-but maybe that'll make your work week easier/less stressful? I feel good about putting in 3 solid days of whole30. I'm really going to try to stick to it through cards and book club this month. If a really special, homemade treat is available I'll partake; but I'm done with nibbling on all the stuff at work.

Doing wash, baking cookies for the town's Dickens of a Christmas next weekend and the open house at the library, and meal prepping today. Finished my rotation of Strong and Sweaty yesterday with the TBGS. I'm probably just going to stick to total body, kickbox, pool, and low impact for a while. Feeling good and getting stronger slowly. I did 5 on the toes push ups yesterday and my shoulder is good. I want to try the total body fit tower workout. I previewed it and it looks good.

You are so lucky to get Cathe Live! Our streaming here is not dependable enough yet. We want to get the NBC gold for soccer, but still get issues just using Netflix. Oh well...I've got plenty of workouts and the gym! I probably shouldn't spend more time watching soccer anyway!

The freaking bat guys called at 7:30 this morning to say they were coming back for more of their work today. So I've been up since then!

Yeah about the braces!!! We started charging DS1 for living here to get him used to the idea that as an adult you pay for shelter. He's fine with it.

How is your week going? I did TBGS on Monday and walked outside wearing the weight vest Tuesday. It was over 50 degrees here and I wanted to enjoy the outdoors! Today is my regular pool day. Leaving in a few minutes for that.

Work is overtaking my life. I'm still getting in at least on workout each day. Monday I did and Insanity w/o. This weight is not budging. None of my normal tricks are working. Tuesday I did BM2 Cardio Blast premix and intended on doing an STS w/o, but that didn't happen. Today I did a BR w/o in the a.m. and tonight I finally got to STS-back & triceps. I'm getting in 1 gallon of water each day, and let me say it's not really that tough. Some days are harder than others, but I've been doing good with that. I'm doing pretty good with my nutrition too. Sticking to mostly whole foods. I haven't even had a chance to try the cathe streaming. If I have the dvd, it's just easier to play it. I want to try out the tower w/o's that I don't have. My neck/shoulder area has been bothering me a lot lately so I scheduled a massage for Friday.

Yay for toe pushups. You are on the mend!!! We've been having nice weather too. I've been too busy to get outside. Hope you enjoyed your time at the pool.
 
Today I did a BR w/o in the morning and went for a walk at lunch. It's nice to get outside while I still can. My neck/shoulder are really hurting today. I'm looking forward to my massage tomorrow afternoon. Can you believe tomorrow is December 1st!
