**Damage Control** November

Good Morning Ladies,

I didn't workout yesterday so today will be a cardio day and BM2 cardio blast is on tap.

Wendy-that BR looks like a goodie! Bob Harper says the same thing as Zuzana, you have to work the legs to burn off the fat and show the abs. His Ripped Core w/o's have squats and lunges in them too.

Morning ladies ..

NO WORKOUT ... only a fun time to report - the GGT was FUN and a much needed stress reliever!!! Tonight is plyo ... but i am thinking I am gonna mix it up .. plyo mish mosh WITH WEIGHTS :eek: .. i am STILL sore in my arms and hamtrings from MON and TUE class :eek: :D

Wendy - the CAB approach worked for my stressing!! I feel much better today .. for now! :p ;)

Di - ITA w/Bob and Zuz .. the large muscles in the legs drive and pump the heart .. any time you are working your legs hard you heart is getting the cardio benefit!!

OK .. better run .. loads to do .. have a great one .. I will BBL to see what everyone is up to! ;)
 
Hello Ladies.

Well after a fantastic work out my morning quickly went downhill. I was pretty miserable until late morning. Thank goodness I feel a bit better now though.

Diana:: Hope you had a good work out this moring! Sorry you missed it y'day. I know what it's like to miss work outs these days. Trust me! :rolleyes: I have pretty good ab definition these days but I think it's more so due to my weight loss efforts and attention to training my abdominal area more frequently, not so much the leg work. That's just my opinnion though. I really don't care how it happened. Just glad that it did! :p

Laura:: Enjoy your class tonight. Glad you had fun last night. I had my usual half a glass of wine last night and will likely have the same tonight. Can't wait to blow this joint and just go home and veg. I'm exhausted from the emotional up and downs I am going through right now.
 
Hi Ladies,

Goodness this sounds like it was a hectic day all the way around. I was super busy and got a lot done today! I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm kinda looking forward to my weigh in tomorrow morning. I did have some pretzels this afternoon so I'm drinking tons of water and hoping bootcamp sweats it outta me!:rolleyes:

Wendy-Hugs to you missy. I'm sure you're on an emotional rollercoaster right now. It will get better though so chin up and hang in there.:) I'm not drinking tonight...bootcamp instead. I will definitely have a drink with you tomorrow night though! I've been using the mojito recipe I found on one of the sites you sent me, only 4 points....but sometimes I make it almost a double and just have 1 drink instead of 2.:p

Laura-glad you had a great time the gals! WooHoo for DOM's!!! If you are sore, I can only imagine how your class is feeling!:D

Happy to report a brighter morning for me then y'day! Thank goodness!:rolleyes:

Today's w/o was HiiT: DWP. What was I thinking!?!? :eek::eek::eek:

Tmrw's plan is TriSets Lower Body and maybe cardio only from Slide and Glide if I feel like doing a bit more.

Sunday I think some Low Impact Challenge is an order! Gotta atleast ATTEMPT to learn combo 4! :confused:

Diana:: TY for the hugs! :) Definitely having a couple CABS tonight! Two Captain and cokes coming up! ;) Cheers! :D How was bootcamp class last night? So how'd the weigh in go?

can I jut say .. EEEEEOOOOUUUUUCCCCHHHHH!!!!!! :eek::eek::eek: Good gosh I am trying to murder my muscles I guess ... I did a mish mosh of light plyo - low cardio - weights - and paper plate work OUCHIE WAWA : DOMS: hammies mostly - butt and entire core and shoulders too ... but it is all good! :D Today I am working in another town - it is slower here most of the time ... but kinda steady today .. I brought my stuff and plan on doing TB or S&G at lunch ... have not done TB yet and my FL friend says it is her fav ... sooooo that will prbly be what I will do - tmrw will be rest day - we are going to the Auburn game - YES DH IS GOING :D :eek: :D and SIL - DB and DN .. should be fun .. it will be DN adn DH FIRST college game ... it is HOMECOMING so surely we will win :confused: we have not done well this year .. young team and TUFF schedule!!! but WAAAARRRRRR EAGLE anyway!!!

Wendy - ((((( hugs ))))))) I cant imagine what you are going thru .. but emotional ups and downs are to be expected to say the least .. hang in there girlie .. you are strong .. and loved!! saw your DS pic on FB .. Di - yes my class was hurting big time - and as most were leaving last night they were all saying they would be cussing me this morning .. :confused:.. hey .. I just crammed 2 weeks into 1 .. I am canceling next week - the Holidays and have too much going on!!

OK .. I did TB at lunch .. HOLY CRAPOLA .. prbly wrong choice of workout with a day full of football gameday activities tmrw .. :eek: .. it TORE UP my hammies and butt .. there is no telling how many times my butt cramped up .. :eek::eek::eek: .. OH MY!!!!!!!! Have a feeling DOMS will be wrose tmrw than they were today!!!!

OUR SYSTEM JUST CRASHED :mad::mad::mad: yes .. on FRI afternoon .. THAT IS JUST WAHAT I WANTED ... gggggrrrrrrrrrr .. can I close the doors and go home???????????? { insert crying tantrum}
 
Laura:: Yup Turbo Barre is crazy hard/painful but isn't a DOMS maker...atleast not for me! You might be surprised that you actually CAN walk tmrw! :D
 
Hi Ladies,

No workout to report for today. I made the mistake of logging into work before my workout. My day may not have started very well, but it has gotten progressively better throughout the day.

DH and I met for lunch, yay....and we did a bit of shopping. After that I stopped briefly at the grocery store and worked the remainder of the day from home!

My weigh in was great this morning, but may not be as good tomorrow.:p Good thing my weigh in days are Friday so I have time to work off any weekend indulgences.

Bootcamp rocked last night...tons of stairs, burpees with the bosu and lifiting the bosu overhead, disc work, track work, med ball ab work...love it! Burned 430 cals and 30% fat during BC class.

Wendy-I still have not tried TB either. Maybe I can do after my STS w/o for an all out leg/butt burning w/o. DWP is my favorite of the HIIT's. Probably because I'm leary of using the step in for HIIT work so early in the morning.

Laura-sounds like fun family time this weekend. Hope everyone enjoys the game. Homecoming games are always packed and will be a great experience for all!

Where is everyone today?

I've been busy with household chores, but did the next STS disc which was legs and followed that up with Turbo Barre. This was my first time for TB, and my legs are jello for sure!

Grocery shopping, recycling, pedicure and library are still on the agenda for today. Time for me to get my groove on and finish up my to do list!

Y'day was Slide and Glide Cardio + 2/3's of the Grab Your Balls BR (did onlu 2 out of 3x thru circuit for time saving purposes).

Today was Tri Sets LB Split which I finished about an hour ago and all I can say is... :eek::eek::eek: ...but I LOVED IT!!!!:D

Weekend's been filled with a lot of housework/chores besides dinner at mom's last night which was good and a trip to IHOP for breakfast with DS this morning before we hit the grocery store.

Diana:: Good job with Turbo Barre! Oooh a pedicure! Color me jealous! I am going to try to go get my nails done on Friday after work since DH has DS from Thanksgiving Day thru Sunday.

Short work week ahead of us ladies. YAY! But unfortunately I don't have Black Friday off. :(

Hi Girls,

I just finished STS Disc 8 (Back & Triceps) and Low Impact Challenge 70 min premix and abs from High Reps. Next stop is costco then time to make a gigantic batch of green chile.

Wendy-glad to see you are keeping up with your workouts! I plan on shopping on black friday. I'm really only looking for one expensive gift and that is a computer for DS. Everything else will be small and inexpensive gifts. I do love the trisets w/o a lot too.

It was a timed work out and it took me about 28-29 minutes to complete it.

My glutes and hams are all fired up from TBLB SPLIT y'day. Gotta love it! It's not CRAZY BAD DOMS but it's making itself known. That's for sure!!!;)

Diana:: Holy work out batman! That was a long one you did y'day! Crazy girl! ;):)
 
Morning...is it Monday already!

Just finished Disc 10, CSB.

Wendy-I just bookmarked that BR w/o, it looks great!! Do you use the jump rope? The asylum w/o's use a jump rope but I felt like all my jump rope mess ups were impacting the w/o so I stopped using it. I'll never get better if I don't try though.

Good job with Disc 10 Diana! Yes I used a rope for the high knees and half of the jumping jacks. I was running out of time so only did half of the jacks and then moved on. Did the scissors w/o the rope b/c I tried it and it was ugly! LOL I will have to practice that when I have more time. I couldn't even do one rep w/the rope! :p At the end of the work out I had a few mins to spare so I went back and did the remainder of the jacks but w/o the rope b/c it was faster that way.
